The Right CMMS for our Growing School
Comentarios: Maxpanda has provided the perfect vehicle to formalize our growing school's extensive maintenance processes. However, with the products continiuos development, we're finding more and more ways to get other (not typically cmms-related) business problems under control. Hats off to the development team. You deliver what you promise, and that's a rarity in today's age!
Puntos a favor:
An incredibly powerful product wrapped in an easy-to-use GUI and tons of awesome (ongoing) updates!
Puntos en contra:
The only downside is that we're in Southern Africa and the Maxpanda guys aren't in our timezone. This means that we have to wait a little (emphasis on 'little') longer to get helped. But when we do get their help, they are really amazing!

An evergrowing software aimed at pleasing the needs of many client types.
Comentarios: Cost savings and streamlining of work order processes.
Puntos a favor:
1. Easy to navigate. 2. Easy to teach to others. 3. Extremely affordable. 4. Quick and personable tech support. 5. Companies willingness to listed to end users needs and add features based on those needs. 6. The web based app is generally reliable and free of major bugs.
Puntos en contra:
1. Inadequate beta testing before new features are released that sometimes lead to other bugs in the app. 2. Slow performance on the mobile app, sometimes leading to inability to use it. 3. Removal of features or functions without first notifying end users. 4. Needs more advanced reporting and accounting features. To be fair, Maxpanda is actively working on these areas and should implement them this year. 5. Some parts of its inventory processes are convoluted. However, Maxpanda is actively working with us to improve the process and add critical time saving features that simplify it while also adding accountability. Note: This review should be treated as an ongoing/continual review of the product.
Alternativas consideradas:
Maxpanda not worth the money
Comentarios: Not happy, actually very disappointed with Maxpanda. Switched to different CMMS with a lot more features for same cost.
Puntos a favor:
Not a fan of this product. Will not be using it now or in future. Towards the end of trying to use it I believe it was down more than it was not.
Puntos en contra:
Crashes when you need it most. Can not delete vendors that are no longer being used. Random FORMER employees gained access and kept putting in work orders with nonsense text. Once using the script from war and peace. Not sure if it was a virus or someone was doing on purpose but didn't want to chance it. Canceled it and still getting work orders via email from people that forget and use it to put in work order. Not happy with this product at all.
Work order system
Comentarios: i was literally thrown into the position i currently hold due to covid and had to teach myself with very little assistance the system. i am still learning after 3 years!
Puntos a favor:
we use this system for our facilities dept work orders as we have over 20 locations. anyone can put in a work order for their location. the system allows us to track the work orders, put them on hold, had notes. the system makes it easy for everyone to communicate about a work order so everyone is on the same page
Puntos en contra:
easier to get reports--i usually have to search and figure out which one i need.

Comentarios: This is the best maintenance system ive ever used. Simple, efficient, time saving, and usable.

The ease of use by both staff and guests.Scheduling of work orders and PMsAssigning multiple staff to a job.being able to pinpoint the job and location

Not being able to put the same job on multiple buildings

Very userfriendly and concise
Comentarios: We love it. Like I mentioned above, if you manage over 5 maintenance techs including an operations team - then this app does everything for you and more.

Maxpanda CMMS provides optimal maintenance management by predicting equipment failure rates and estimating the cost savings our maintenance decisions. The apps help us prioritize our maintenance tasks, ensuring that the right maintenance is done at the right times for each of our properties. This helps our operations team understand issues throughout the entire portfolio.

A live map view would be awesome! But I hear this is coming live NEW YEARS EVE so we're very much anticipating this new release.

The maintenance app every organization should have!
Comentarios: Getting our camp maintenance process completely automated as we build the camp and grow has been very easy with Maxpanda.
Puntos a favor:
Seamless transition of data between the web version and smart device app version. Color coded status of work orders makes it easy to keep track of what is going on with my maintenance tasks and projects and preventive maintenance.
Puntos en contra:
There is a definite learning curve for someone that has never used a CMMS software platform and it's not always intuitive.
General MaxPanda Use
Comentarios: Overall, this has been a very good experience to use MaxPanda and utilize as a tracking tool for camp maintenance.
Puntos a favor:
It is easy to put in general work order tickets as a user. As an admin, it is very easy to review the dashboard to see the status of current work orders and their progression.
Puntos en contra:
The lack of ability to customize fields on the work order screen limits our ability to more easily track things like money spent on specific assets.
MaxPanda helps end-users
Puntos a favor:
Intuitive for end-user. Can be customized to match requirements.
Puntos en contra:
Difficult to run reports. Difficult to maintain asset tracking.
Max Panda work order system
Comentarios: i would say for the price we have had an overall positive experience, but you better be able to figure out the system by yourself or wait a while for help and then expect to spend some time going back and forth explaining yourself to finally get what you need.
Puntos a favor:
ease of a new hire to figure out how to request a work order.
Puntos en contra:
1- you cannot delete past/terminated users, it clutters up figuring out who is really using the system 2- when applying notes when changing the status of a request it only goes in to the status change history. most of my staff are too lazy to go in and look at the status change- if you make a status change the notes should be sent via e-mail to let the requester know what happened. 3-tutorials suck, system needs new tutorials to go over every aspect of the system. even though it is a cost effective system, they would stop me from looking at their competitors just because of the back end time i spend trying to figure out how to set up and individualize the system to meet my needs. 4- support sucks- when i need support i need support now! not in some nebulous future when my problem has already been compounded by down time. they need to to implement real time IT or user support. a real human voice/skype/e-mail/ can go along way. 5- graphs and reports- is there any way to really customize them?

Organization but it takes time

This software allows my facility to track all work orders to ensure completion. It helps hold employees accountable because work orders are assigned to individuals. Having desktop and applications for mobile devices ensure that all users can access the program.
Puntos en contra:
Using the software does take time. The program reverts back a screen when a selection is made and I have to click to get back to the screen to save more data. And the mobile app requires making sure the latest version is downloaded or all you get is a spinning circle.
MaxPanda review
Comentarios: MaxPanda has not been my favorite CMMS system to use. I have used others that were much easier to use and navigate. Also, as I said previously, the app is terrible. It's so bad that I deleted it and refuse to use it.

The thing that I like best is the customer support. If there is a problem, and I've had quite a few, support is always available to help.
Puntos en contra:
The system is not the easiest to use. It is confusing for non-tech saavy people. Also, the app that is available is terrible. Most times, when using the app, the pages are stuck loading and never go anywhere.

Hi Les, Maxpanda has seen an explosion in new customers during Covid. Seems many companies are now scrambling to go from PAPER BASED to DIGTIAL. This massive intake of new customer caught us off guard and we have now implemented larger AWS instances in Canada to handle the increase demand. Comentarios: It makes my Management happy that I am using this software.

The only thing I like, is the fact that it is web based and can be accessed anywhere you have an internet connection.
Puntos en contra:
Every time you save an entry it takes you back to the main list and out of the work order you were working on. And it reshuffles the list from the way the end user sorts it. Too many back and forth maneuvers. Very cumbersome and time consuming in shifting back and forth from one screen to another.

compared to our last work order system (e-mail requests and paper follow ups) this system is awesome
Comentarios: increased production, tracking and accountability.

the mobile capability for the staff members, and the ability to change the work order status. the items that are customizable are great and that submitter gets notified of any changes automatically is great.
Puntos en contra:
for me the system is not very intuitive to use, and although some aspects are customizable it would be nice to customize other aspects of the system. I like the 24 hour help line but it would be nice to have a troubleshooting link for the top 25 or 50 asked questions so i can go see if i can deal with my issue and not wait for the e-mail back since they sometimes take a while to respond.

I use it daily. It's kind of a pain, but I'm used to it.

It updates frequently. Seems to stay up to date on user-friendly aspects. It's quick in the network we have.

It's a pain to use for the most part. You have to hit a lot of buttons to do what seems to be a simple function.

Hi Brent, we'd love for you to provide us with more concise details on what where when how your using the app which causes you to hit many buttons? Most clients find Maxpanda extremely quick/easy to use with minimal steps required in either creating, editing or closing work orders. Any feedback on areas you feel can use optimization can email to max@maxpanda.com - use screenshots if possible and remember, we want to optimize all our 165,000 user's experience around the world.
It gets the job done.

That we can create work orders as well as our clients. In that sense it flows well. I also like that I can upload photos and link employees, so that they also receive a text that there is a new work order.
Puntos en contra:
No option for invoicing and if you pick a company name and start a work order and then realize it is the wrong company name, you can not just switch it, you have to scrap it and start a whole new work order.

easy to reported and tracking, fast to technitian to identify the problem, company can send the right tech for specific problem

not acess to delete order at manager level, manager cannot edit or delete and error or work order that summit by mistake.

Hi Andrea, please use the REJECT or CANCEL status for duplicate work orders or mistakenly submitted work orders. As well you can set your staff to Submitter Unlimited which will give them access to view all work orders within a given building/site. This way if they notice someone else put in a similar work order, they won't have to. Maxwell

It still seems to be being developed as more of a work order tool rather than a financial and parts inventory tool.
Our company uses Maxpanda daily and find it to be a very useful resource for our tracking needs.
Comentarios: Currently, for what we do there has been no problems. We use the product to support our Accounts Payable system and it has proved to be a very nice companion. We are able to maintain a database of requests and timelines.

It provides us with great functionality for the things we do. It is a great tracking system for our AP function.

Comentarios: Working with my contact at Maxpanda has been just the way I like it. Straight forward, direct answers no fluff. I love getting something that is worth what I'm paying, and I get what I expect.

Simple to use, very intuitive. Has all the features we want and need, and they just keep improving it.

Not sure there is anything, no kidding. I don't get hung up on the fancy GUI's, it still looks very nice but it's about the function of form.

Comentarios: Overall experience in implementing a software application was great. Very easy, conversion templates were simple to follow. Support was always there when needed.
