Cuidado con los planes de precios

Comentarios: Hemos trabajado con Vimeo durante más de 2 años. El problema con ellos son los planes de precios. En sus planes de precios disponen de varias opciones. En nuestro caso disponíamos del Advanced que es el más alto antes de ser un plan personalizado. En el plan Advanced dispones de 2 TB de transferencia de datos al mes y teníamos un coste anual de 479 dólares más impuestos. En estos años nos hemos pasado 3 veces de los 2 TB. Supuestamente, cada vez que te pasan te envían un correo electrónico indicando que te has excedido. Ese correo nunca llegó. Cuando excedimos la 1ª vez no dijeron nada. Cuando excedimos la 2ª vez se puso un comercial en contacto con nosotros y nos ofreció un plan de 2.000 dólares año con un ancho de banda de 20 TB a repartir como uno quiera a lo largo de ese año.Con la negociación se llegó a la conclusión de que nos quedábamos como estábamos y se bajaba el consumo.Al año siguiente nos excedimos 1 mes por 18 gb. Es decir de 2.000 gigas, utilizamos 2.018 gigas. Se puso una agente comercial en contacto con nosotros y nos ofreció un plan de 50 TB por 6.000 dólares. Es decir, por excedernos 1 mes un 0,9% nos ofrecieron un plan que pasaba de 479 dólares a 6.000. Es decir, un 1.152 % más caro. Además en ambas situaciones los agentes comerciales te presionan para que te decidas en 2 días o te cierran el acceso.No existe proceso de negociación. Si te gusta bien y si no te vas. Eso hemos hecho.

Los fallos de acceso a los vídeos por parte de los usuarios han sido pocos.

Puntos en contra:

El gran problema que tienen es el servicio de atención al cliente y su departamento de ventas.

Una manera más refinada y completa de crear y compartir tus videos

Comentarios: Para mi ha sido la mejor plataforma para los videos de mi marca personal.

Puntos a favor:

Fácil integración, herramientas para crear videos, buena selección de opciones de seguridad.

Puntos en contra:

Poca capacidad de subida por mes para el plan que yo pago.

Te permite alojar videos y compartirlos ya sea de manera privada que publica. Bastante útil.

Comentarios: Te permite crear una cuenta para guardar todos tus videos aunque de todos modos no es algo obligatorio.
También tiene modalidades de suscripción Premium como Vimeo Plus y Vimeo PRO, y estas ofrecen la posibilidad de subir mayor cantidad de contenido semanalmente, subir contenido a máxima resolución, etc.
Depende de cual sea la suscripción que tengas podrás subir más o menos videos a la plataforma.

Puntos a favor:

Este software te permite reproducir y subir vídeos en una calidad bastante alta, esto me gusta mucho ya que algunas plataformas te pueden bajar la calidad del video en cambio vimeo la mantiene. Bastante útil si tienes algún curso en linea. La interfaz es cómoda y fácil de utilizar.

Puntos en contra:

Que lamentablemente te dan cierta cantidad de GB a a la semana, si sobre pasas estos GB no puedes eliminar el video y recuperar los GB sino cambiar de plan o esperar que pase la semana completa y ten otro GB. Otra cosa que no me ha gustado es que las suscripciones pagas son costosas., ojala bajaran un poco el precio.

Facilidad y calidad

Comentarios: En general nuestra experiencia con Vimeo Pro es muy gratificante y siempre a la alza nunca lo contrario, no paran de sorprendernos con nuevas funciones.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que mas nos gusta es las funcionalidades que tiene que hacen que nos facilite mucho el trabajo y podamos ofrecer a nuestros clientes opciones varias como descargar vídeo en diversos formatos. También destacar que las ultimas actualizaciones traen una mayor posibilidad de personalizar con tu marca, como logo colores, dominios que sin duda es magnífico.

Puntos en contra:

Lo que menos nos gusta por decir algo es que a partir del segundo plan mas económico los otros superiores únicamente se pueden adquirir anualmente.

Vimeo es alta calidad en video, pero para youtube le falta mucho

No caben dudas que si hablamos de Videos en alta calidad, Vimeo es la opcion, fue pionero en esto pero en desarrollo de plataforma en mi opinion le falta bastante para llegar a ser youtube

La plataforma y la app no son tan amigables con el usuario como la de la competencia

Fácil y económico

Comentarios: Lo utilizo desde hace muchos años y una vez que tienes todo allí, migrar puede ser una tarea titánica.
En general estoy contenta, si aumentaran la seguridad para los vídeos sería excelente.

Vimeo es fácil de utilizar y tiene un precio muy económico. Está muy integrado con muchas plataforma lo cuál es un plus.

Puntos en contra:

Organizar los vídeos es ocasiones puede ser complejo. Existen formas de piratear los vídeos cuando se embeben, cuál es una de su principal contra.

Comentarios: Es una herramienta bastante útil a la hora de realizar presentaciones en video para dar clases o exponer un trabajo. Es fácil de utilizar, funciona muy bien en el dispositivo que lo utilizo y, sobre todo, cualquier persona con la que trabajo o estudio, lo entiende.

Puntos a favor:

Ofrece la posibilidad de crear videos y editarlos con contenido actualizado. Además, es una herramienta con una curva de aprendizaje adecuada, que puede ser utilizada por personas con distintos niveles de experiencia. Cabe destacar que su biblioteca de plantillas, es inmensa y más que útil cuando quieres encarar un proyecto, y no sabes como.

Puntos en contra:

Si bien, existen alternativas que pueden ser más completas que este software, cumple a la perfección con su propósito.

Una alternativa artistica a otras plataformas

Me gusta la el valor artistico que tienen los videos de esta plataforma, tiene un alto contenido asociado al arte que genera impresion sabiendo que se trata de una plataforma que almacena videos libremente.

Puntos en contra:

No me agrada que no sea tan popular entre las plataforma similares conocidas, no es tan conocida.

No hay contenido de calidad. Al final no es útil

Lo sencillo que es su implementación y la gestión de videos, en especial la configuración de privacidad para evitar descargas no autorizadas.

Puntos en contra:

El formato de visualización tiene mucho que mejorar , me genera aún una sensación de incomodidad y peor si no elimino ciertos iconos que considero innecesarios.

Buena herramienta para webinars

Puntos a favor:

He usado la herramienta para crear contenido webinar y para editar vídeos de fin de curso, y la experiencia ha sido muy buena; especialmente la privacidad, esencial trabajando con menores.

Puntos en contra:

Al principio, cuesta aprender a usarla. Después, es bastante sencilla.

Ya un clásico

Puntos a favor:

Vimeo se convirtió en un clásico para gestión de videos. Incluso tiene algunas herramientas muy sencillas para la edición. Lo más destable es la calidad de reproducción y el tiempo de carga, a mi parece está a años luz de otras plataformas similares.

El buscador de vimeo siempre me resultó lo más limitado.

Multiple videos cannot be uploaded at once. Loading the gallery from the phone is a bit slow. For unpaid users, space is limited, which is not the case in other video sharing platforms. There are significantly fewer users, but those who are there definitely know why they are there.

Getting the links of a video is complicated. One needs to go to the advance settings, the distribution and then finally click on video links. Then you get playable links or downloadable links. If you don’t have the API it is a lot of work if you have a large video library.

From Youtube to Vimeo Pro!

Comentarios: I used to get paid by YouTube back in 2015 but I had signed up for Vimeo Pro for free. I do personally like the platform on Vimeo better than YouTube and Vimeo feels more hip and young. It is for those who are into high resolution graphics and videomaking. It is not like YouTube where the videos are created from smartphone tools. It is for professional videomakers, animators, and motion graphics artists. It is the main reason why I joined Vimeo Pro, but now, it is turning into a career.

My company is focused on creating graphic designs and motion graphics to promote my artistic products, and Vimeo Pro is the perfect way to make my products promoted online. During the pandemic, I was furloughed from my employer so I decided to use my time to promote my online business. I had it established in 2015 but I was working for my employer for the last four years and did not have time to make proper sales. Instead of just sales, Vimeo Pro has helped me create an online community for those interested in my brand. It has been a lot of fun and the features on Vimeo Pro always excite me.

My least favorite feature is the high costs involved in maintaining my online presence on Vimeo Pro. MY favorite feature is the videomaking tool which I do have to pay a monthly subscription for, but there are so many costs involved. It was like starting my own channel by paying Vimeo to keep maintaining my videos. It has been an expensive journey for me as a member of Vimeo Pro.

I needed a way to restrict where my videos could be embedded. Vimeo is one of the few platforms that will actually do this by domain or hostname.

I wish livestreaming options were included at base levels. The livestream options make it too cost-ineffective compared to other platforms.
