Puntos a favor:

It has an easy to understand pricing plan. For someone who is new to websites, the plan allows you to clearly understand how pricing works.

Puntos en contra:

This would be crucial in order to approve the project and values with the board team, for example. Another problem is the lack of plugins compared to WordPress.

Comentarios: Muy buena solución

Puntos a favor:

The perfect website builder for designer

5,0 el año pasado

Comentarios: In the end, I'm happy with Webflow. It's an amazing platform for designers, but it's definitely not enough for advanced website building. You can use it just for landing pages, personal blogs, portfolios, and local business websites. If you need advanced functionalities you need to hard code them (losing the benefit offered by the platform) or you need to chose a different platform.

Puntos a favor:

The UX of Webflow and its functionalities are perfect for every designer that wants to approach web design. It empowers designers to build award-winning websites with granular control over the final output. The Webflow hosting is blazing fast, the code generated is clean and lightweight, and the CMS functionalities are great.

Puntos en contra:

For a platform so good is incredible how many cons there are with Webflow: - it's not GDPR compliant, and they are actively and deliberately ignoring this issue - it doesn't have a multi-lingual system. You are forced to rely on third-party apps, that add a huge monthly cost for the maintenance of your website - the e-commerce side is incredibly weak compared to other players - the CMS is capped at 10k items. It may seem a lot, but if you automate CMS library enrichment you end up consuming them quickly - every item is capped at 30 custom fields. Again, 30 may seem a big number, but if you used conditional display logic, you can quickly consume those 30 custom fields (and there are other small limitations). It's limiting also for advanced blog structures, like affiliate blogs that need comparison tables. - the general development of the platform is incredibly slow. They haven't added relevant features for years! They even removed the client billing features (I wasn't a fan of it, but they said that they removed it so they can focus on more relevant features, while they are not releasing anything!) - some standard components are not accessible according to WCAG, and you have to rebuild them - a lot of basic components are not pre-built, so you have to custom code them

Webflow - Great for Advanced Users

5,0 hace 8 meses

Comentarios: Overall, despite Webflow's high cost, I believe it's a great option for relatively simple websites that aren't too large. If you want to create a large blog or news site, I would suggest Wordpress because you won't have to pay for your site scaling as you would in Webflow. Webflow's editor is not very scaleable, but the things you can accomplish with it are pretty advanced if you work hard (for example, I made a tabs section where the tabs were custom SVG shapes - I would not know how to do this in Wordpress). It's by far the most customizable web builder out there. So, if you have a good understanding of HTML and CSS and can translate that to at least figure out Javascript well enough, and if you want to create sites with a wow factor, I recommend Webflow.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow is great for advanced web developers who understand coding on a deep level. Even though they market it as a no code solution, having a deep understanding of coding makes navigating the user interface so much easier and decreases the time required to learn the platform. It has a massive repository of paid templates that are amazing and free cloneables that can be copied and pasted onto your site which are equally amazing. These options can significantly cut development time. Also, Webflow makes it easy to use advanced CSS options like CSS flex or grid. Overall, there's a lot to like about Webflow.

Puntos en contra:

Webflow is very expensive compared to Wordpress and page builders on Wordpress because the costs are often more than you expected. If you are a business who wants to have a blog or news section, you'll likely need to pay for their Business plan AND a CMS plan to be able to have the ability to make blog page templates and store blog article content. There are limits to the CMS items you can store, and Webflow will increase pricing tiers on their plans based on large volumes of traffic, so it is definitely one of the most expensive platforms I've seen. It is not a good option for small businesses. Also, there is a very steep learning curve to using Webflow, but that is mitigated by the excellent learning courses they provide.

Bad support and bugs

1,0 hace 3 años

Comentarios: In two adjectives: BAD and ANNOYING, I regret it.

Puntos a favor:

In the beginning, I thought Webflow would really be the tool to help me solve the problems I was hoping to solve, but not, they created new ones that this time, without a website developer around one can't fix it. Then you ask for support help and the answer you get is "it seems you are asking for web development services, we don't offer that, please ask for help in the community". This has happened to me endless times in the last 2 years with LEGIT questions on bugs I found in this tool. I do NOT recommend that you use it or switch from WordPress or something else thinking you are really going to get the next level here, because you are not. I hope this feedback doesn't get canceled or blocked because it is real and can help other people to make their decision.

Puntos en contra:

Bad support No support for multiple languages Limit to 100 pages (then everything crashes) Bugs!!!!

Really powerful tool for building a website

5,0 hace 4 meses

Comentarios: Great!

Puntos a favor:

Webflow definitely has a steep learning curve, but once you get a grasp on how to use the Designer and how classes work, it's relatively easy to design a great-looking website. I've used other CMSs and Webflow is by far the best. Their educational content is also fantastic, there's almost always a video to answer the question you have.

Puntos en contra:

There can only be one person designing (changing website design and settings) at a time, so if you're working with a team, you have to manage who's logged in when. If someone else enters, the first person working sometimes gets kicked out.

Webflow - 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Puntos a favor:

It’s so easy to use while still ensuring your SEO is optimized. Best to have an expert design the site, but then clients can update so easily on their own. Totally intuitive.

Puntos en contra:

Can be seen as too pricey for some, but usually can explain why it’s a better option and is worth the higher fees.

Webflow is a powerful and flexible website creation tool.

5,0 hace 6 meses

Comentarios: Webflow is a top-notch website builder since it offers a wide variety of tools and resources to its users. It is perfect for both new and seasoned programmers because to its user-friendliness and lack of coding requirements.

Puntos a favor:

Utilizing Webflow has allowed me to gain access to features that would have previously required a large time commitment, and it has also greatly accelerated the rate at which I can construct websites. Incredible tools for sharing knowledge and replicating success stories are provided by the community at large. Webflow is a crucial investment for my company.

Puntos en contra:

While there is some recognizable learning curve, the available learning materials are among the best available elsewhere on the web. Getting customers to adopt a "new" service they know little about is my biggest issue. Customers are often hesitant to commit to Webflow due to their lack of familiarity with the service. While the benefits usually speak for themselves, more resources to help convert customers would be welcome.

Webflow user review

5,0 hace 3 años

Comentarios: Fast, agile design and development of websites. Prototyping to launch timeline is greatly reduced, so profitability is increased. The CMS is highly customizable and easy to buildout.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow allows for an agile design and development cycle. Iterations are quick to accomplish. The UX layout of the toolkit is easy to understand. The ability to add 3rd party integrations and custom code really extend the usability.

Puntos en contra:

Webflow continually rolls out new features, but still lacks multi-filter search functions. Webflow has extensive tutorials, but it will take some time for a new user with prior HTML and CSS knowledge to get past the beginner level.

Build quick websites with advanced functionality

4,0 el año pasado

Comentarios: i was looking for a site builder which would be open enough to let us setup custom styled components and tweak prebuilt templates to our needs. And that it what Webflow has given us. Using a template as a starting point and building up from there.

Puntos a favor:

The possibility of adding custom functionality into the current and prebuilt templates makes using Webflow super cool. Most of the common parameters of a website can be modified only using menues and dgra-and-drop features. But that is not where it ends. You can add own scripts and classes if needed to really make the site shine and BE different from other website builders.

Puntos en contra:

The bulkyness of the interface is sometimes slowing you down and if you want to create a really simple site there are too many parameters to set. A simple one-pager turns into a day of work at the end. Because almost everything can be edited. Also image manipulation and optimisation is not the best. Repositioning an image in the background can turn into a nightmare + add the mobile and tablet breakpoints and it can be easier to code the site from scratch.

Great for clients to self manage

Comentarios: Very happy with it. We built over a dozen websites on this and the clients have been happy as well.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow is pretty amazing. I believe this is the best platform I've come across for building a website for a client to self manage. You can build on a developer end and have them make edits on the client/editor side. I really like the collection building on the back end.

Puntos en contra:

I didn't love that you can't chose different captcha options or change the size of it. Also, the editing options are sometimes limited when setting up a blog.

Great for designing websites, lacks in e-commerce functions

5,0 hace 3 años

Comentarios: The single best website design tool I have ever used. Ahead of its time when it comes to website design, boasting some great features that all designers in a no-code space will love to make use of!

Puntos a favor:

Webflow is one of the best website designing tools on the market. Its ability to enable founders to design great front-facing websites is nothing short of spectacular! An excellent tool that enables designers to build fantastic websites!

Puntos en contra:

Webflow lacks in its ability to support core e-commerce functions. Its ability to enable users to design great websites puts platforms like Wix and Magento to shame but its ability to enable worldwide selling still has a long way to come. I also felt a disconnect between Webflow's website design tools and its hosting functions. Shopify and Krepling boast better functions in this arena. That being said nothing comes close to Webflow in terms of designing great websites!

Intuitive Website Building with Webflow

5,0 hace 7 meses

Comentarios: Webflow is an excellent website builder that provides a range of features and functionalities to help users design and develop professional-quality websites. It's intuitive, easy to use, and requires no coding skills, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced developers.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow is an exceptional website builder that provides a range of features and functionalities to help users create professional-quality websites without any coding skills. Its user-friendly interface is intuitive, making it easy to design and develop websites. Additionally, Webflow provides a variety of customization options, including pre-built templates, drag-and-drop functionality, and a powerful CMS system. These customization options allow users to create unique and visually stunning websites that stand out from the crowd. Furthermore, Webflow's built-in SEO optimization tools help websites rank higher in search engine results, which increases visibility and drives more traffic. Lastly, its responsive design ensures that websites are optimized for mobile devices, providing a seamless user experience across all devices.

Puntos en contra:

While Webflow is a powerful website builder with many advantages, there are a few potential cons that I have noticed. Firstly, there is a learning curve involved in mastering its many features and functionalities, which may be challenging for beginners or those with limited website-building experience. Secondly, Webflow's e-commerce features are relatively limited compared to some other website builders, which may not be suitable for users who need more advanced e-commerce functionalities.

Why Webflow is one of the best tools for fast web prototyping and landing pages

5,0 hace 4 años

Comentarios: Webflow allows you to move really fast. It has lots of things predefined for you, it has great tutorials to learn from and great customer support. For me, it is definitely the number one choice for web prototyping because I can build a great responsive website in hours and share the link with somebody else.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow can be used for both prototyping and production ready websites. One of the greatest features of Webflow is its responsiveness: the UI adapts almost seamless to different screen sizes. Modifications on one screen size are spread across all different sizes. It has this great feature that allows you to reuse UI components across the entire project just by setting the same name for the components. UI components can also have multiple names and inherit multiple behaviors from different components. The code is totally transparent to the user: the user works just with visual elements and Webflow generates code in the back. It is a great tool for prototyping web pages: you can have your project published for free on a subdomain of Webflow just by clicking a button. It has a wide variety of predefined themes you can choose from. It is great for landing pages: it has lots of SEO features built right into it if you decided to host your website on their servers.

Puntos en contra:

It is hard to collaborate as a team on a shared project. Copying and sharing work between different projects is sometimes painful. The price of hosting the website is relatively high comparing to the industry standard, but you can always opt in to export the code and host it somewhere else.

No-Code Web Builder

5,0 el año pasado

Comentarios: I really love the functionality of the drag and drop interface of web flow. It's very easy to understand and customize, I also like the ability to create customize interactions directly to the interface. I have been able to create my own personal site in a short period of time without a background knowledge in coding. If you want to have full control over the website but you are afraid or you don't have experience at all in coding, Webflow is a good choice.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow has a great community to help you understand the platform. Webflow University is a free resource that helps beginners to understand deeply its full functionality. It has free cloneable content that allows you to use and customize. You can customize your site design for different break-points (different device sizes) using Webflow's built-in responsive. You can publish your site anytime you want and access it in the web. It's basically a no-code environment which is pretty awesome for the beginners like me.

Puntos en contra:

I have been struggling with using CMS. It's very hard for me to understand it. Given the idea that it is one of the best features and a game changer of Webflow. I really do need to figure it out and understand it since they are providing informative tutorials.

The best no-code solution for Web Development

5,0 el año pasado

Puntos a favor:

- Layout of the web editor is simple and easy to use. - Webflow support is always there to help if you need it. - High speed servers makes the website load time a lot faster then hosting it on external servers with wordpress.

Puntos en contra:

- Lack of integerations available as it's still fairly new product compared to competitors like Wordpress.

A quick way to create clean code.

5,0 hace 4 años

Comentarios: Webflow helps me to quickly create the frontend of websites graphically without coding, shows all the changes in real time, with its css and js drivers, can create animations quickly and very professional styles, is a excellent tool to make scalable projects, gives total freedom over the code, also its hosting has a great performance, includes the ssl certificate its integrated cms is quite easy to use.

Puntos a favor:

Webflow is a web application that facilitates the creation of the frontend design of websites, what I like most about webflow is that it allows me to manage html css and js graphically, besides that the imported code is very clean, as if it was created through code, it does not add lines or unnecessary code, in addition you can also add half querys to ensure the responsive development of the page without coding, since it has in its graphic editor the possibility of modifying the design for smartphones and tablets, in the landscape and portrait position, another thing that I really like is that I do not need any installation to start using it, besides it is easily integrated with tools like google analytics.

Puntos en contra:

Graphically you can not access to modify nested selectors, so it is always necessary to include a class, or otherwise add the css code manually, this is a problem for users of the free layer, since it does not allow them to download The code is also somewhat complex to use its line of learning is steep.

The best thing since sliced bread

5,0 hace 5 años

Comentarios: In a nutshell, Webflow allows us to build an amazing website in days instead of weeks. Devs love it because they can move fast, designers love it because the end result is just like the design, and the clients love it because it's really easy for them to make quick edits.

Puntos a favor:

Simply put, Webflow is a UI over HTML and CSS. That means that anything you can build in HTML/CSS, you can build in Webflow ten times easier. We used to allocate weeks to building websites, involve multiple devs and spent a sizeable amount of time fixing cross-browser compatibility issues. Since we've started using Webflow, the turnaround time for projects decreased considerably and the devs love building websites (which wasn't happening before). Besides building the front-end, Webflow features a powerful CMS that allows you to visually edit the contents directly in the website - a feature that clients love, alongside the point-and-click content editing. Webflow is easy to learn (you need a good HTML/CSS understanding, though), incredibly easy to create mind-blowing animations and runs buttery smooth on any browser, anywhere in the world (they're using AWS infrastructure after all).

Puntos en contra:

Webflow doesn't yet have an e-commerce CMS - it is still to be launched, even though it was announced some time ago.

Bells & Whistles, but worried about backend functionality

4,0 hace 5 años

Comentarios: I used this to see if I could use it in my freelance work. What I'm finding is that most of my freelance work is for clients who have contracted Devs or a Dev team established and so the biggest feature of Webflow of being able to publish sites directly from design kind of falls through the cracks. With that, I've run into a few snags with actual Devs saying tat even though the CSS and code is valid, that it sometimes does not set up for flowing functionality on the backend when we change the website or add other things. Overall, it's nice to be able to produce simple website and landing pages straight from your code. I don't know anyone who won't like that, but past that, I don't think the ability to go from design to code really is that much of an advantage. With that, the overall Design features aren't a "Wow!" factor enough to have me switch over from my other design tools. Not a bad effort in the design world and would use again given the right circumstance.

Puntos a favor:

Design to code ability really is what makes all the hype here. The UI is set up similarly to other design tools, so the ability to onboard quickly is there. Being able to have assets and elements export ready is nice.

Puntos en contra:

Not as robust in prototyping as I would like, but it's fair enough. Biggest concern for me is that there's no real check to see how the backend of your UI is flowing what you set up on the front end. You REALLY need to have working knowledge of coding to understand that your site will not break. It can look good, but may not function exactly the way you had set up.
