Puntos a favor:

Easy to deploy and integrates (albeit not seamlessly) with GoDaddy, where we were previously hosting our website. Excellent customer service.

Puntos en contra:

In my personal opinion, I think SS is lost with its minimalist phyloshopy and streamlined way of doing things.

5,0 hace 2 meses

Comentarios: En general, he tenido una gran experiencia con Squarespace.

Puntos a favor:

Puntos a favor:

Puntos a favor:

4,0 hace 3 meses

Puntos a favor:

Comentarios: We build exclusively on Squarespace. Our clients LOVE how easy it is to learn to make quick updates themselves like text or swapping out photos. Not only is our team able to easily use the product, but our clients, too!

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace has powerful integrations that support the product/site. The update to Fluid engine has made design more effective. We also started using Acuity Scheduling -- game changer for complex scheduling!

Puntos en contra:

Every now and again there are a few features that require custom code.. otherwise, Squarespace is easy-to-use and a lot of flexibility without needing to know any code at all.

An all-in-one platform to create your online presence

5,0 hace 3 semanas Nuevo

Comentarios: Squarespace allowed me to create a website quickly and easily, without having to worry about technical aspects or installing additional software. It gives me a professional image through designs that enhance my site's content and help me build credibility. It simplifies the management of my site and guarantees its security and performance.

Puntos a favor:

I use Squarespace which is an all-in-one content management system (CMS) and which allowed me to easily create a professional and very aesthetic website. Indeed, it has a wide range of customizable templates, adapted to different sectors of activity, such as photography, blogging (in my case), portfolio or e-commerce. The templates are elegant, modern and responsive, meaning they adapt to my screen size. Moreover, I can change the template at any time without losing my content. Its user interface is intuitive, simple and easy to use. I can customize my website by dragging and dropping elements, changing colors, fonts, images, etc. I don't need any technical knowledge or additional plugins to do this. Finally, Squarespace is ahead of the curve when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization). The platform automatically generates meta tags, clean URLs, XML sitemaps, etc. I can also add my own keywords, descriptions, titles, etc.

Puntos en contra:

Squarespace does not offer phone support. I have to make do with live chat, email or community forum. Moreover, it is more expensive than its competitors. Finally, it does not allow me to sell in different currencies on my website. I have to choose a main currency and convert it manually if I want to display other currencies. This can be a hindrance for international customers who prefer to pay in their local currency.

A User-Friendly Website Builder: Squarespace Review

3,0 hace 2 semanas Nuevo

Comentarios: Starting my web design journey with Squarespace was a fun and accessible way to create and deploy websites. However, as my experience grew, I discovered more powerful tools like Wordpress and Webflow, as well as delving deeper into HTML and CSS for greater customization. While Squarespace excels in simplicity and hassle-free website creation, it may not meet the advanced needs of web designers. Squarespace is an excellent choice for individuals and businesses seeking a user-friendly and hassle-free website building experience. While it may not offer the depth of customization and flexibility found in other platforms, such as Wordpress or Webflow, it remains ideal for quick website creation without the technical complexities of coding. Squarespace is a great option for those who value simplicity and convenience in website design.

Puntos a favor:

User-Friendly Interface: Squarespace offers a user-friendly interface with drag-and-drop functionality, making it easy for beginners to create visually appealing websites.Templates: The platform provides a diverse collection of professionally designed and mobile-friendly templates, offering a solid starting point for website creation.Hosting and Security: Squarespace takes care of website hosting and provides secure browsing through SSL certificates, ensuring a smooth and protected experience.E-commerce Functionality: Squarespace includes robust e-commerce features, making it suitable for businesses looking to sell products or services online.

Puntos en contra:

Limited Customization: Squarespace's customization options may be lacking for users with advanced design requirements, as it primarily relies on predefined templates with limited HTML and CSS customization.Dependency on Squarespace: Users are tied to Squarespace's hosting infrastructure, limiting their ability to easily migrate websites to other providers.

A Comprehensive Review of Squarespace: An All-in-One Website Design Solution

5,0 hace 3 meses

Comentarios: Overall, Squarespace is an excellent platform for creating and hosting websites. It's easy to use and comes with plenty of design options. The cost can be a bit high, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and reliability.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is an incredibly user-friendly platform for creating high-quality websites. Their intuitive drag-and-drop website builder makes it easy to customize and add features to your site. The wide selection of beautiful templates and design options makes it easy to create a stunning, professional-looking website.

Puntos en contra:

Although Squarespace is very easy to use, the cost of their plans can be quite expensive compared to other website builders. Additionally, some advanced website features are not available on the platform, so if you need something like eCommerce functionality, you may need to look elsewhere.

For simple website design and amangement look no further.

4,0 hace 4 días Nuevo

Comentarios: I think squarespace is great. For a non technical user what this provides me with is a very simple and quick way of developing and managing an attractive website with all the functionality needed.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace makes designing and managing your website simple. Making edits, implementing redesigns are quick and easy to complete. This was the main reason we switched as we wanted anybody to be able to manage the website with no need for technical web skills.

Puntos en contra:

Sometimes the way things work are not intuitive, they remain easy, but initially the way to achieve something is not always obvious. Additionally Squarespace in my opinion is not designed for high end, high functionality websites so for some the service may be limited.

My Love for all things Squarespace!

5,0 hace 4 semanas Nuevo

Comentarios: Incredible and stress free.

Puntos a favor:

What I like most is it’s ease of use, new Fluid Engine and their stellar customer service.

Puntos en contra:

At this point with the new Fluid Engine and new design features I cannot think of anything else I would want; however that doesn’t mean there aren’t always new features that can be added. What I do know is that Squarespace listens to their users and they have responded by adding incredible new features and functionality. They continue to provide the best quality and reliability for their customers and that’s what keeps me a Squarespace user.

Puntos en contra:

Squarespace has very little flexibility to integrate third -party applications, being an inconvenience when you want to integrate other tools and platforms it offers.

Simple, efficient and easy website design and management

4,0 hace 3 semanas Nuevo

Comentarios: Overall, I will continue to use Squarespace over other comparable options (Wordpress, Wix, GoDaddy, etc) due to the simplicity and ease with which it allows for website design/management and the options that are preset. The only real detriment is that it does not allow for certain specific modifications/configurations of their templates. Still very user-friendly and worthwhile.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace makes designing a website with only basic knowledge of web design an option for individuals and small businesses looking to create a website on their own.

Puntos en contra:

I wish there were more options (optional) when it came to making changes and customizations in the preset templates

Value of money, easy and simple for site management using niche based templates

5,0 el mes pasado Nuevo

Comentarios: Easy to create a website with free SSL and can use niche-based stunning designs or templates. No coding just drag and drop and promote the content on the web with ease. Really impressive platform with dashboard and analytics insights as well.

Puntos a favor:

A great choice for a website builder with a small budget to showcase creativity, and hosting to sell the product online. Have a lot of features SEO friendly and marketing, even full of security. Highly customized options in terms of layouts, font, themes and much more.

Puntos en contra:

Limited plugins even every version is hard to update automatically. Also, limited integration options, technical support team is not pro active

User of Squarespace for 9+ years - Loyal customer to a fantastic product

5,0 el año pasado

Comentarios: My overall experience has been outstanding. I will continue to use the product despite the cost. It is well worth the amount of visits I routinely get on the site where I know the viewers will have a smooth experiencing navigating the site. It just works!

Puntos a favor:

When it comes down to it, I'm convinced that Squarespace is the BEST option for portfolio websites short of hiring a designer which would cost significantly more for something better quality than what Squarespace has to offer. Beyond that, it's easy to customize, is a beautiful frame for portfolio work that makes the work itself look better and ultimately gives me credibility as a professional since the site just looks so good. I've put quite a bit of work into building the site over the last 9 years and change the theme every 3-4 years or so which requires days of work to get right each time. In between larger redesigns, updating the site is so easy and I know what to expect. The customer service has been outstanding for 9 years. It's more expensive than the other options out there but I'm happy to pay for how the product bolsters my work and ease of using the product. The analytics also are a huge win in allowing me to see how the site in performing - and to be able to monitor this on the go within the app.

Puntos en contra:

There are some limitations if you're very design focused like I am since the templates can only do what they were created to do which means that simple things like changing margins may not be as simple as you'd hope. There are lots of tools the "style editor" but sometimes it doesn't' cover all the bases. I've had to code things in when that was the case for things that I feel should be pretty easy to customize (like if I want an image full bleed but the template doesn't support it, you must code it in. This is only for a few select amount of customers who are detail-obsessed like I am. For the general user, the prebuilt templates are above and beyond what you'd hope for! Also, sometimes browsers have a hard time keeping up with the editor and it can freeze or crash. This has gotten massively better in the last 5 years and hope to see this continue to improve. All around, these are things I wish could be better but not complaining when there isn't anything comparable in the market for the look & functionality at a similar price point.

Value and Simplicity, Meet Beauty!

5,0 hace 2 años

Comentarios: I have now built over 10 full websites using Squarespace and each one continues to grow my knowledge and stretch my ability. As I aforementioned, you don’t need to be a pro, but if you are, designing an incredible, impactful and don’t miss this, mobile friendly website is simple and easy.

Puntos a favor:

The best thing about Squarespace is the ability to create gorgeous websites with little to zero experience. You don’t need to be an HTML wizard, but if you happen to be, you can still take full advantage of everything Squarespace has to offer.

Puntos en contra:

Honestly, it’s hard to say one. For the mid level prosumer, I haven’t found a single better option.

A website-builder following the K.I.S.S. mantra

4,0 hace 3 años

Comentarios: Squarespace can't do everything you might want from a website. Or... well... it probably nearly can. The devil is in "how" it accomplishes things. Essentially the whole product keeps you "on rails" as you roll out a website. Every element within the builder has maybe one or two customization options, but the rest is hidden behind an impenetrable interface. But, Squarespace isn't just keeping functionality out of your hands to be cruel, it is often saving you from yourself. By limiting the options available to you, they also limit the potential outcomes of your foray into web design / ecommerce / etc into mostly desirable ones. Sometimes, rules/restrictions can be good! In this way, I'd say they are kind of like the "apple" of website-building platforms.

Puntos a favor:

At one time, Squarespace's slogan was "build it beautiful." They take this mantra seriously, as the platform makes it almost impossible to NOT make a beautiful website. Can it be restrictive? Yes. But in limiting the user's options, it often is doing them a service. If you absolutely must have functionality or an type of implementation Squarespace doesn't support, then you probably need the help of an expert (either a dev agency or a marketing/design agency) or you are yourself an expert – in which case, you probably should have started with a more sophisticated tool.

Puntos en contra:

The one area where customization is often necessary is in CSS. A bit of custom CSS goes a long way toward making a site look less like a template. Just as having a clean crisp UI/UX is the bread and butter that makes Squarespace sites so attractive to small businesses, having a "one-of-a-kind" look can go a long way toward making those businesses look more credible. It is a delicate balancing act, which Squarespace usually nails quite well... but the lack of documentation on how the site treats custom CSS is a shortcoming. I basically end up anding "Important!" to everything, because it is impossible to tell what elements of my CSS Squarespace is going to arbitrarily overwrite with no explanation.

Be Fancy....AND Simple....Live Your Website Dreams!

4,0 hace 4 años

Comentarios: Overall, Squarespace gets the job done and looks good doing it! I do hope that there's continued improvement in the area that I mentioned above, but overall, I've been happy with Squarespace.

Puntos a favor:

What drew me to Squarespace initially were the aesthetics. The style and choice of their templates were a cut above what I had seen on Wordpress or WIX - of which I did try using both platforms at one point in time. I also LOVE how user friendly Squarespace is! Even if you're not super techie, it feels very intuitive and dare I say...fun to use...

Puntos en contra:

One of my biggest cons lies within the "blogging" aspect of Squarespace. There are a great deal of limitations in formatting, especially if you don't know how to code. When creating a draft of a blog, Squarespace does not *automatically save anything as you go....so I cringe at the times that I've lost an entire blog post because something froze --- the remedy I was told was to simply type out a blog post in another application (Word, etc.) and then post it in the blog section. But I often find myself editing a draft in Squarespace -- making final corrections.....so I have to be veryyy careful to only edit in my "Word" document and not make any changes once I put it into Squarespace or it has the potential of being lost....

Squarespace: Best and fast website builder

3,0 hace 10 meses

Comentarios: If you are a beginner and want to build a website as quickly as possible without any prior knowledge, then you can go with Squarespace. But, if you are willing to invest some time to learn about website development, then nothing is better than WordPress.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is a good option for beginners who want to build a website without any prior web development knowledge. They provides lots templates to design the website, which are mobile-friendly. First you need to select one among 100+ templates and start buliding your website with it's easy website builder. You can easy sell products in Squarespace and track product orders from the dashboard. It also has a Financial dashboard to track earnings. And ff you have any concerns about using Squarespace, you can contact customer service at any time.

Puntos en contra:

Squarespace sites are not good in search engine optimization, making it difficult to rank them on the first page of Google. Limited software and service can be integrated with Squarespace. It is also quite tough to migrate from Squarespace to another website development platform.

Perfect for Creative Professionals, Limiting for E-Commerce

4,0 hace 8 meses

Comentarios: Squarespace has allowed me to build an online space where I can sell my artwork and share creative projects. As my product line grows I will need to move the shop aspect to an alternative like Shopify. However, I will remain using Squarespace as the main website for my business and services.

Puntos a favor:

Squarespace is my favorite website builder for small businesses and creative professionals. I love that it is so easy to set up and customize to fit my branding and voice. Squarespace makes it easy for one person to create their own portfolio or website to promote their work or house their services.

Puntos en contra:

While Squarespace has been my favorite website host as a creative professional, it is lacking in e-commerce tools and support. Simple things like having a filtering system for a shop page require additional plug-ins, or coming up with DIY solutions (that will ultimately require more work long term). Squarespace's commerce functions may be appropriate for a shop with one or very few product categories. However, as the product line expands and falls under different categories, it becomes much harder for the user to sort through products and locate what they need.
