Sobre Nutshell
Nutshell ama a los equipos de ventas y los equipos de ventas aman a Nutshell. Las mejores herramientas de tu clase, las integraciones que ahorran tiempo y la asistencia en vivo de primera clase.
One of the cool functions is that it integrates with email, so when you have communications with customers, it automatically shows in the tool.
I think more training on set up, warnings issued at set up and common pitfalls at set up would avoid harmful bulk uploads making irreversible upload mistakes.

Nutshell un buen CRM
Puntos a favor:

Have to move over to pro to get more then one sales process. Pro is so expensive.

Excellent CRM for our Niche Application - Best of Multiple Reviewed/Used
Comentarios: Excellent! The customer service has been responsive and the system has been 100% reliable.
Puntos a favor:
Barrier to entry was low with minimal upfront cost needed to evaluate the software. Ease of use for a small company with minimal resources to devote to developing, executing, and maintaining the system.
Puntos en contra:
So far the only con that we have experienced has been in the reporting functions. This could be a by-product of our unique needs or our lack of resources available to investigate it further. It does seem limited compared to Salesforce.

Nutshell review
Puntos a favor:
I'm delighted I can look up information on our firm and individuals. We can be very specific about the data we want, and obtaining a significant amount of information with only a few clicks is really straightforward. We can observe a vast volume of data quickly and efficiently.
Puntos en contra:
When utilizing the system to send emails to several recipients, I'd like to have additional alternatives. I'm now obliged to utilize templates, and I'd rather type everything all at once.

leads don't allow you to easily sell services, only products. After sale service is hindered.
Comentarios: We get a cost effective CRM that frees up cash flow for use elsewhere in our business.
Puntos a favor:
Nutshell offers a unique ability to tag people in activities and run reports on calling activities for my sales reps.
Puntos en contra:
Every lead typically has a company or contact. But if you don't save the activity in the lead, and instead under the company or individual contact, you can't see it when your client calls in regarding the sale they want service for, so your customer service is hindered and your sales people look like they don't know the history of the account. It's embarrassing to use this software because Nutshell says they are only helping to land the sale, not support it, but this mindset about how they build their software results in a horrible disconnect with regards to how we are forced to serve our customers, and thus we are using a CRM that doesn't support the full life cycle of a sale. We keep hoping Nutshell will fix this and improve because their customer service is great, and their people mean well, but after several years of patiently waiting, we are concerned that we may never see this problem fixed. The mobile app also has so many glitches with the UX that it can't even compare the experience to how you can use leads in a web browser. Further, when we have a customer call in to ask about their account, the recent leads puts the oldest first in the list, which means we have to scroll through several hundred orders just to open the last order we did for that client. If you are trying to sell to a major corporate account with multiple facilities / departments, forget it with Nutshell; linking subcompanies / vendors / partners / other locations is a nightmare in Nutshell.

Pros and cons of Nutshell
Comentarios: Overall experience has been fine and easy going with Nutshell as it provides everything that we required from requirements stand point also mainly about sales pipeline management functionality.
Puntos a favor:
The most useful feature of Nutshell is the sales pipeline management where it managed every complex and monotonous stage of sales that in turn also provide analytics and reporting functionality for research purpose and presentation for the stakeholders.
Puntos en contra:
When it comes to documents storage then there are lot of improvement required as the platform involved in holding the document is fishy and complex to deal with.

An Elegant Yet Powerful CRM
Comentarios: We are now better organized with our sales process and are more collaborative. This allows us to keep our important information in one place that is easy to use and work as a team to get things done!
Puntos a favor:
I love the filtering ability with our companies and people lists. It allows us to really drill down and get the exact metrics we want. We are better able to see a lot of information at a glance in a dynamic way.
Puntos en contra:
I would love more options when emailing groups of people in the system. Currently, I need to only use templates when emailing groups and I would like to be able to type out the email in one shot instead.

Nutshell product review
Comentarios: I have used a number of different systems including Zoho, Hubspot, Pipedrive. I like Nutshell's flexibility and ease of use.
Puntos a favor:
Tags - are the most used feature - so I can easily segment lists. The ability to sort with multiple tags. Easy importing from a spreadsheet.
Puntos en contra:
Having to add a tag into the system BEFORE uploading a contact spreadsheet. If the tag doesn't already exist - the import fails. Which is an extra step and a waste of time.

Nutshell VS Act
Puntos a favor:
I was an ACT user for 10+ years and when they went to an cloud solution the product because so slow and crappy I had to make a switch. Testes and used many programs and landed on Nutshell. Great product & great support!
Puntos en contra:
The process of a lead and a person a little confusing at 1st.

Perfect solution for startups
Comentarios: Everything was really great. From the sales, through deployment, and ongoing support.
Puntos a favor:
Ease of use, easy integration, great customer support, easy to learn and solid documentation, and many more.
Puntos en contra:
Some features need improvement or expansion but our rep told us all the ones we asked about are already in their production queue.

Riaz
Huge security vulnerability, inadequate support, and false advertising
Puntos a favor:
Nutshell has a good UX and design, was easy to customise with their API and integrate into our software, and was easy to onboard new staff onto and train them how to use.
Puntos en contra:
There is a massive security bug in the software that we have raised to their CTO multiple times but this has still not been fixed, and their team now ignores our emails. This bug allows peoples private emails to be read even if they have unsynced from Nutshell, and has been acknowledged as a bug by their tech team but we have not had this addressed. As a result, we had critically confidential business information leaked. Nutshell is also meant to include unlimited free phone calling - their CTO about a year back reached out to us to ask us to switch to a more expensive option, because they had not planned for calling volumes from our country and this subsequently pushed our costs up.

I've used CRM software on Mac, PC, & midrange IBM systems. Nutshell is at the top of the heap.
Comentarios: It's CRM that actually is liked and used!
Puntos a favor:
Easy and flexible setup; consistently clear design. Can use basic functions without tripping over the advanced ones, and can gradually add feature/function for a smooth transition from beginner to power user. I also like the way you have color-keyed the function buttons to the main color on functional screens. A nice visual orientation cue!
Puntos en contra:
I worked full-time in the design profession for 17 years, so this is a 'studied' critique: There is a lot of market pressure for tech products to follow design trends. Unfortunately, design trends often are based on designers designing for other designers -- which tends to leave certain kinds of user needs out in the cold. One of the most common of these 'orphaned' needs is the need for contrast and clarity. Nutshell's UI gets high marks in my book for uncluttered design and common-sense functionality. But as people get older, it gradually becomes harder to distinguish low-contrast elements in a design. Contrast (and color, of course) also can be used (and is used to a degree in Nutshell) to 'lead the eye to where the action is. ' My suggestions for improving the main user screen are these: 1) Search Everything is, by definition, a key feature -- it should have a STRONG presence, instead of looking almost greyed-out. 2) Use bolder and slightly larger text throughout. To a degree, weight and size will compensate for lack of contrast -- and without cluttering the layout.

Nutshell's CRM: A Small Business Lifeline
Comentarios: I didn't have a business process until I started working with Nutshell. I had a pile of handwritten notes on my desk calendar and loads of sticky notes on the perimeter of my monitor. Learning my way around a CRM for the first time was intimidating, yet I was able to talk with actual humans when I got stuck, and watch tutorial videos that explained what I wanted to learn. I now put everything I need to know about a client into Nutshell, trusting the process and grateful for the customization and flexibility as my company grows.
Puntos a favor:
It's designed for super easy customization for what I do, and I lean hard on this feature! I also love how the Dashboard feature is set up, allowing me to see at a glance which activities should be tackled each day, and when I've scheduled future to-dos. Nutshell's approach feels like 'the little guy' was thoughtfully considered--and that's me!
Puntos en contra:
I have a tough time with my leads fields frequently reverting back to the default setting that shows all fields, not just the 4 custom ones I've created. This is more of a tech issue, not really a dislike of Nutshell in general.
Rob
Generally good, but with some really messy issues
Puntos a favor:
We love process management with Nutshell. It helps with our initial sales/setup process, and is very customizable. Nutshell is also fairly logical in its approach to content and is visually appealing.
Puntos en contra:
We find it is a little too oriented towards "pure" sales teams (we have mixed teams with product, customer service, sales, etc all done by the same groups of people). Mostly, though, we find there are really small but highly irritating bugs or issues. For example, If I start typing a reply to a message that shows up in Nutshell and then click to show more details on the original message, my reply disappears. Another example is that we also see some messiness in how to-dos are handled they show up in my list to-do list even though the step isn't active, or they persist after the lead is closed. Email notifications are spotty or not ideally timed. I provided feedback on this some time ago, but I don't think correcting that is particularly high on the improvements list. A third example is that we work with a number of businesses that have different regional units Nutshell has no support for this, so it is hard to keep our companies list clean. We have lots of duplicate companies.
Daniel
User friendly product that has helped our company grow and transcend our industry.
Comentarios: Nutshell allows a very small company like ours to manage all of our leads and clients in a manner that would be quite challenging without the software. We are a very unique business in a niche industry and Nutshell adapts very well to our needs.
Puntos a favor:
It is pretty easy to get up to speed with the software which has been a nice feature for our organization as we've had multiple people needing to use Nutshell...the reporting and tags have been really helpful..I run a lot of custom reports and using the tag feature on a daily basis.
Puntos en contra:
It has been challenging to be able to connect with support staff about a technical issue. About a year ago, I really enjoyed being able to message with support staff if I had a question..now it seems like I have to wait a day or two for an automated email reply with some links to some possibly related topics of interest.. my questions can be fairly technical and multi-faceted where either use of messaging or simply talking to another human would be more beneficial.
Matthew
Nutshell has been a necessity for our business.
Comentarios: Organization across sales, support, and billing.
Puntos a favor:
The Dashboard is amazing for keeping up to date on the happenings in Sales. I also really appreciate the Wallboard(summary of sales that month) as we google cast it to your TV in our kitchen. The sales process functionality ensures all leads go through a standard sales process. Really good stuff. We're really glad to have supported Nutshell all these years.
Puntos en contra:
SaaS support. I'm still not able to find CRM software that is geared towards SaaS companies. Seeing as Nutshell is a SaaS company I'm surprised they haven't added support for this yet. Once a lead is marked as one, you can't have steps in the sales process (mail a welcome package, follow-up after 2 weeks, 1 month, ask for an online review ;P) You have to manually create these tasks. Instead we've had to utilize Zapier to add a task to Asana for this. I wish we could do it all in Nutshell.
Stephen
I have found the recent Nutshell reporting update to be really poor.
Puntos a favor:
Nutshell has a reasonably simple interface to use. There has been enough ability to customise the platform to get it to show some of the data/reporting information I needed.
Puntos en contra:
The new reporting format is a really poor user experience, putting irrelevant information front and center and making it harder to access the custom set-ups I need to make Nutshell work for me. I had high hopes that Nutshell would continue to improve from its base, however, I haven't seen any signs of a good update to the platform in the last 6-12 months. We are now in the process of evaluating other platforms to move away from Nutshell. Missing major functionality to make it useful.

Nutshell has features I like, but there are serious limitations to aspects of the product.
Comentarios: Ease of phone calling from the Nutshell App. Tracking of opened emails sent from Nutshell. Ease of access to Customer data through the search function.
Puntos a favor:
The phone App is fairly strong. That I can call and have calls tracked from my phone App. That I know when an email I have sent through Nutshell is opened. There is quick and easy access to all Companies, People and Leads through the search function. That there is a reasonable degree of customization that can occur with Nutshell.
Puntos en contra:
I am very disappointed that Nutshell does not integrate with my Google contacts as this requires me to double entry contacts, arg. I am also very disappointed in the non existent formatting within Nutshell email. In order for me to track whether an email is opened, I have to send it via Nutshell, hence I lose all ability to format good emails.

This software is easy to use. I love that I can track every client from computer or phone.
Puntos a favor:
This software is easy to use! I didn't have any clue what "CRM" was, and many of the programs I was looking at required a business background to decode the user manual. Nutshell was intuitive. Knowing how to use my I-Phone and Facebook seemed to be the only background I needed to get started! I have all my clients in Nutshell now. I track what they buy, what classes they take through our company, and what they are likely to buy next. I send e-mails to clients every time they order that are customized to tell them what to buy next. All of this was easy to set up through the Nutshell software!
Puntos en contra:
The only thing I would consider adding to Nutshell is a place to list what they purchased and a place to list what training they have received (other than in notes).

Good system but still needs a few tweaks to become great.
Comentarios: Organizing prospect lists and notes, as well as scheduling calls.
Puntos a favor:
Keeping notes and prospect lists organized, as well as being able to schedule calls out to a future date. The system is good and keeps getting better but still needs some tweaks.
Puntos en contra:
I HATE how you cannot move a whole day of calls over to the next day with one click (like a "select all" button). If I get behind, so I do not forget about them, I have to click on each call and manually move it to the next day (and sometimes I have 13-30 calls scheduled). Huge waste of time. All you need is a "select all" for that days calls and have the ability to move them all to a future day with one click.

ok, need work xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Puntos en contra:
1. when inputting 3 or 4 new people with same address, company, etc - it would be helpful to allow you to clone the prior person and just make subtle changes like name, extention and email address. 2. Returned/bad email addresses should be flagged/highlighted in the profile; current method is not useful. 3. Would be helpful to have a 'Notes:' section at the top of a 'Lead' to instantly refresh your memory without having to scroll because of a date 4. When sending emails, would be helpful to have a {Lead} field, ability to add an attachment and no reason to attach last email to all 'Leads' associated for that Person, just attach to their profile

Comentarios: Nutshell worked for us for several years but we need a more robust system that integrated with our accounting/contracts side of business. We have purchased a sage CRM.
Puntos a favor:
Easy to use. I was able to train others easily. I liked the customizable fields and the dashboard. I liked the ease of using system settings.
Puntos en contra:
We do not sell widgets or a product. We sell a service. I did not use your email feature as it was a disaster for us. Our clients send many emails regarding more than one opportunity and your feature only sorts the emails according to the name of the client.

Lower cost alternative to other CRM programs
Comentarios: Time and cost savings. Low cost way to manage my customer base info.
Puntos a favor:
Ease of use. Searching is speedy and the interface is well thought out. There's a lot of customization available and marketing to my customers is easy with templates.
Puntos en contra:
Lack of integration to pull in address data. It would be helpful to me if it could integrate with Linked IN and find and pull in address, email, phone and other data for prospective customers instead of requiring me to copy/paste or type in the data.

The app works great when connected to wifi. On the road the app has some problems.
Comentarios: Tracking activity of sales reps, customer account data, establish sales goals.
Puntos a favor:
The layout is great and easy to use. The support page has all of the information we need to find out how to complete a specific task.
Puntos en contra:
When entering in a customer account, the app will erase the letters while you're typing. We are also experiencing a problem after logging activity the app will delete all of the information we are logging. I live in Ann Arbor and have asked to meet in person several times and the answer is always no. I need to know these problems can be fixed.

Positive, but we under-utilise nutshells capabilities
Comentarios: Simple to implement. Cost effective.
Puntos a favor:
Simple to use ie simpler to TRAIN reps, simpler for them to adopt. Flexibility - so one person can be attached to different products and leads and accounts. Can lift out lists for marketing easily. You are a small responsive independent company.
Puntos en contra:
There is no easy way to manage accounts. Much of our revenue comes from recurring revenues from customers. We need to be able to develop customers. So selling more product to a customer (either new products same customer or increased use of product). Nutshell doesn't allow us to manage these "accounts" very well. To do this really well you'd need to use your open APIs to tie into our accounts package. Training and support sucks. We are on Australian time zone, and you guys are always shut when you need it. REALLY need good training programs. Nobody has heard of nutshell! Its a well kept secret strong product. You recently increased fees...are you trying to become another salesforce.rob.your.users or is it a 1-off?
