Comentarios: My initial experience with PayHOA was a little challenging but I quickly caught on to how everything functions. Some Board members wanted to engage another more established company but the cost and support from the large corporate firms can't compare with the support from PayHOA. This was the best choice for my 300 unit HOA community. I'm so pleased that I paid for the full year with a discount.

PayHOA was free to setup and use for the initial 30 days. The software team was readily available with 24 hours notice to link up and explain any functions. I had a few enhancement requests that were implemented within a few hours. The PayHOA team always responds to my email requests within 24 hours and they are available to work with me on my schedule. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

Puntos en contra:

There is not a lot of draw back issues with PayHOA. I've been using the software for a few months and everything is going great. I did have some issues looking for the ability to print individual invoices as they don't appear on the owners unit menu. My software consultant was able to quickly show me where to find the PDF print function.

PayHOA is Amazing!

Comentarios: The experience has been incredible. I know that there are other software companies out there but we will not find one with the customer service or willingness to implement ideas from our team like PayHOA.

As a management company, we love their ease of use for our team and our clients. They are very communicative with our team when we have questions and solve issues within a very short amount of time. We have been a partner with them for years and will continue into the foreseeable future.

Puntos en contra:

There isn't anything that we do not like about PayHOA. There have been a few things over the years, but they have been fixed by updates, etc.

Comentarios: Very, very good to start; not so good of late. Hopefully things will improve. Maybe Pay HOA is getting so large that they don't have time for little clients like us. I hope not. they were very good people.

I use to get timely responses to the few questions and requests I had. Great people, great heal. Lately, this statement is not true. I have a simple accounting statement request outstanding now for nine months. I have customer service requests in for over a month and no answers with hardly a response.

Comentarios: The initial search for a system like this showed that they are very responsive to questions and they have continued that with any support requests. The ease of setting up owners/renters and tracking payments is a breeze. Highly recommend!

Being able to track the units as well as the owners and renters and offer online payment options was the reason we went on the hunt for a system like PayHOA. Being a small self-managed building we wanted something easy with options for further accounting needs as well as great support as needed and we found all that w/ PayHOA. It's easy to see where everything is and anytime we have a question we receive a quick response. Super helpful and really simple to implement.

Puntos en contra:

While there are many features we don't use, the only con is really the ability to have more robust accounting, allowing us to setup vendors to invoice and have them pay us without the need to create a fake unit for them. Google/Apple Pay are also tenant requests that aren't available at this time.

Comentarios: PayHOA has been a wonderful experience. Our small association of under 50 homes has been relieved of rising homeowner dues and has actually been able to offer all of our homeowners free trash service as a result of these savings.

Ease of use. Accounting capabilities. Set up of violation as template fir multiple use. Every transaction entry has ability to upload proof documents.

I admit it was scary going to self-directing HOA from a continual full service property management group, but there were no Cons to consider with PayHOA.

Comentarios: I have not had any problems. I wish the staff was available with a phone call like before but I realize that Covid has changed many things in our lives.

I like the fact that I can check it daily to see which homeowners have paid. The new feature to deposit paper checks is very exciting because I hate to go to the bank. The staff [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] always answers my questions by email and when needed I set up a Zoom meeting.

Puntos en contra:

I wish we could get some type of online fundraising but this is not critical. I would also like a way to add monthly interest to the invoice without having to create another invoice. Also, if an HOA billboard where we could have a community newsletter displayed for the homeowners would be nice.

Comentarios: PayHOA is the best money our association has spent. The staff and technical support is unmatched to any service I have paid for in the past. This software has enabled our board to go nearly paper free and allows us to keep reference materials in one spot for future boards to review.

The ease of tracking expenses and income; creating and printing financial statements for member meetings and our year end accounting needs; the ease of providing group emails to members; and the ability to store files for member viewing (minutes, rules/regs) and board of director use (quotes on projects) in one place is a great benefit.

Tracking capital expense projects. It would be nice to better track the payoff of a loan.

Comentarios: Onboarding was horrible. Tutorial was easy to follow.

Affordability, however you pay for what you get.

Cancelation on their pdf mailer. They say you have 5min to cancel, however there is no option for you to cancel as the user. So, if I'm working late I need to make sure that I wait the following day to contact them just in case I need to cancel. And that's if they pick up due to the coronavirus. Unfortunately, I have already committed with my HOA to this software. If that wasn't the case I would go to tops.

Hi Harry, I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience with our customer support team and our platform. I do see that you emailed us to cancel a PDF mailer the day after it was initiated. Unfortunately, our mailer already had the job in production and could not cancel it. I'll make sure we add some language to the confirmation page to make it clearer that submissions are final. We are looking at other direct mailers that offer more flexibility for cancellation, but it's a difficult balance because our clients also want their mailers put in the mail as quickly as possible and cancellation windows slow that process. Comentarios: As a first time property manager a few years ago I was looking for a software that was simple with lots of great benefits. Pay HOA checked all of the boxes I was looking for - easy accounting & reporting, online payments, homeowner database, easy invoicing, budget creation and so much more. I love that HOA board members can be granted access to view reports and budgets.

I like how I can streamline HOA dues with their associate fees. It then is put on autopilot and sends out monthly invoices as well as late fees if applicable. I can create an entire years worth of invoices and PayHOA takes care of the rest.

Puntos en contra:

I wish the website feature was less expensive. Having a property website linked to PayHOA would be amazing, but once again costs are the reason for not integrating a current site.

Comentarios: PayHOA solved our work order issue with a system that allows owners to submit a work order and allows the users to track them.

I was looking for a software that incorporated work orders, accounting, communication and maintenance tracking. PayHOA offered all of these features. The software is easy to set up, although it could use more customization options. It is more than sufficient for what we need. Homeowners can pay their fees online and it is deposited directly to the bank.

It could use more customization as well as an area where admin could store owner documents and information internally.

PayHOA is a great product, but could use some more tweaking

Comentarios: Overall the payHOA system works very well and is easy to navigate. I have made use of it for over two years now and homeowners seem to like it as well. My community is small and we have not made full use of some of the features, but I am glad they are there to use when the time comes that we do use the features

It is easy to navigate around the website, and its intuitive so I can give someone admin access to the site and within a few hours they have a pretty good feel for the site. This makes any training needed for more specific things easier to do and get through.

Puntos en contra:

The Invoice system still needs some work. Would like a way to filter out late fee separately from normal Invoices. It would help to also have a quick way to see the houses that are late on paying dues on the main dashboard. I also feel the site permissions need to be flushed out a bit more. I would like to assign mass permissions to most but would prefer to filter out specific people. It would be nice to see a way to drop specific home owners into groups and then be able to assign or remove permissions on those groups

We selected PayHOA for management of our small HOA in an active adult community. Since our residents are all seniors, it was important that the interface was easy to use and the PayHOA system gives us that. The ability to have our residents see their accounts, submit requests for maintenance, landscape or architectural changes, make payments online is great. On the administrative side, our Board can send out broadcast emails, create surveys, create invoices and respond to requests easily. The support we have received throughout our set-up and release has been stellar.

The accounting reporting side of the PayHOA system has a couple issues, but again the support we have received has been great.

Comentarios: Easy implementation. Good automation of ongoing management tasks. We brought HOA management in-house, saving management fees. A volunteer is able to perform the management and financial activities with minimal time required.

Small Sub HOA

Comentarios: We are a volunteer HOA board made up of residents from the neighborhood. Anything that makes that task easier is great and PayHOA has delivered in almost all aspects of the job.

The financial tools are perfect for an HOA of our size (36 homes). The request tools make it very easy to manage the typical needs of an HOA. The custom reporting capabilities generally meet our needs.

The People view needs some additional flexibility. It would be good to give residents the ability to see contact info, without visibility to other residents financial status.

Decent option for managing an HOA

Comentarios: Overall, PayHOA is a good low cost option for small HOAs that are managing the HOA without assistance of a property manager.

PayHOA makes it easy to manage and maintain HOA membership, ownership, and communications. It also provides an easy location to upload, manage, and maintain documents making paper files a thing of the past and making it easy for the membership to access documents relevant to the HOA.

Puntos en contra:

It's not as easy to export certain data as I'd like it to be -- sometimes I need to manually build out information because I can't include it in an export (like permissions and tags), and finding how to export data is less intuitive than it could be.

Comentarios: It has been great as an HOA Fee invoice and collection System.

I have only used the Invoicing and Payment module. It is easy to use and has a lot of functionality.When the developer turns over the building to us in November/2023 I look forward to using all the other modules. The biggest challenge will be integrating a Mexican bank into the System. Otherwise PayHOA handles Pesos just like they are dollars, in fact the symbol for a Peso is $.

How can we make it handle a Mexican Bank? This is not a Con because PayHOA was not designed to operate in a foreign country. There is a simple way to trick the system into accepting a Mexican Bank, even if we don't use any functions, e.g., taking payments or online vendor payments.

Outstanding Substitute for a Property Management Company
