Comentarios: Overall experience AuditBoard is very responsive to our emails and tickets. Most of the time they do resolve our issues and do provide guidance that resolves our issues. The issues we have are the items they have moved away from updating such as moving narratives from old format to new. AuditBoard is so focused to AI that they are not looking at the simple fixes and updates that some customers want.

Comentarios: Overall, my experience with AuditBoard has been highly positive in the two years that I have been a user and administrator. AuditBoard users are highly resourced with the Help Center as well as AuditBoard Academy.

The AuditBoard platform is highly customizable, which allows our team to tailor the data captured, and thus reportable, in our operational audits and ICFR. In addition, the ability to define multiple issue types and define relevant fields for each type provides for enhanced enterprise reporting and drives consistency.

Not having the ability to do basic formatting in free text fields is a drawback (bullets, bold, italics, etc.)
AuditBoard is a great tool for our Company
Comentarios: Our company experience has been good. If we were to implement again, I would take more time in setting everything up initially.

The thing I like the least is the control UID naming. The process/subprocess do not add value to the UID but make is long and complicated to remember.

The integrated modules. I like that you can set up controls in 1 place and they can be used by the other modules/users.

The product is not easily customizable. For example, the policy module cannot be customized to allow the workflow for reviewers to be sequential.

Comentarios: As a company, we now have OpsAudit, RiskOversight, and CrossComply. It is great to have a platform that integrates elements of risk, audit, and compliance in one place. We have been able to build a program and become more efficient along the way.

The ability to integrate our engagements into once place, including risks, while being able to more adequately manage each project.

There are latency issues at times and links within Excel documents do not update.

Emerging Audit Tool
Comentarios: The people we work with directly are great. We have had some issues with lack of timely or complete responses from tickets submitted with problems.

auto-save is great. I do like the easy of customizing as well.

some areas are overly complex (permissions) and some are too basic (formatting in fields). It seems like the development group has a lot of great software engineers, though may be missing human factors and user community involved with the design and testing.

Really positive experience, everybody in the team is using it seamlessly and in the same manner, ensuring that our quality standard is kept without additional workload.
QA reviews of our audits are trivial thanks to the forms, resulting in a much cleaner environment.

Accessibility is key to our global department. Latency is always the same regardless where we are in the world. Another extremely important key point is the superb support we received throughout this year from the team. All responses were tailored to the questions, this is, somebody took the time to understand our question(s) and reply to them in a very professional manner. No canned responses.
Puntos en contra:
A number of steps in our methodology are conditioned by the workflow implemented within the tool. Also, automated generation of documentation is something that we cannot use due to the limited functionality. Hardly a headache, we just adapt our process and use the tool in the most effective manner.

Slow response time to fix issues and/or make minor enhancements to the product. Have to submit ideas to the "community" is the standard response when pointing out issues.

AuditBoard Review
Comentarios: Overall, I really like AuditBoard. I have people on my team who have come from other platforms who agree, and those who wish AB would do things the way their old platform did, but I generally like the product. It has made auditing much more organized and streamlined.
Puntos a favor:
Before AuditBoard, we worked on SharePoint, Excel, and several other platforms to get through an audit, and even then it was a manual process to review and plan for the next year. Now AuditBoard makes everything in the process, from planning to remediation, much easier.
Puntos en contra:
I've used AB for more than 4 years now and lately it has felt that the focus has moved away from improving its core products in order to build out the ecosystem. There are a bunch of small quirks in its core products, like SOXhub. When I've brought these items to the attention to the helpdesk and consultants, the response is always "suggest it as an idea in the community". This used to be a viable solution, but now I've had ideas out there for more than a year with dozens of "Kudos" (read: "likes") and comments from other users. Even AB staff have commented on a few saying that they've shared the idea and nothing ever happens. There used to be QOL updates at least monthly and now it seems like the community is largely ignored. It might just be my feeling though.
Very useful platform
Comentarios: AuditBoard has definitely helped us improve our cybersecurity risk management practices, and we intend to use it a lot more to continue to improve.

I like that it has APIs that allow me to build automations that may not be natively available in the platform. These automations are becoming more and more important in our work.
Puntos en contra:
1. The APIs are very poorly documented, and require too much "figuring out" and "guessing" 2. A lot of AuditBoard competitors seem to be moving in the direction of using integrations to collect information that addresses the requirements of compliance frameworks directly. It would be great for AuditBoard to check out that possibility, or evaluate the need among customers.

SOX Hub is very easy to use, good interface, ABI dashboard - both out of the box as well the customizable option is a plus

lag time to open pages/screens. I would also like another field or two for searchable names/lookup. Currently for issues management, we struggle with the 2 name-fields.
Great Audit Tool
Puntos a favor:
I've been using Auditboard for the past 7 years, and it's been a great tool for SOX Compliance. We have established a great relationship with Auditboard, and have always gotten great support from them. With Auditboard, users are able to access documentation with ease. The user interface is extremely user friendly, and easy to navigate.
Puntos en contra:
Narrative integration is great, however, the initial linking is a bit painful and time consuming to do.

I like how easy it is to organize and maintain controls, test results, workpapers, and recall the evidence that was requested and submitted for each control. I also like how easy it is to create workflows for user access reviews.

I don't like that you cannot create sub workflows that are triggered based on the responses of the main workflow.
