The thing I like most about Hostaway is the ease of use. I manage my properties while working another job, so I need automation.
Export function to Booking.com somewhat limited - can not create extra rooms via hostaway, bed setup not ideal for representing non-traditional bedding.

Una app confiable
Comentarios: En general, mi experiencia ha sido muy buena.
Puntos a favor:
La app funciona muy bien y constantemente hacen actualizaciones que son muy útiles.
Puntos en contra:
Ha pasado más de una vez que, al actualizar la app, algunas funciones se ven afectadas, como las notificaciones o la velocidad con la que se actualiza el calendario y los chats. Pero con la siguiente actualización suele corregirse.

Razones para elegir Hostaway: HOSTAWAY ofrece más herramientas, una mejor sincronización y mejor atención al cliente.

Razones para cambiar a Hostaway: Me pareció un precio justo por el valor que aporta, en comparación con Guesty que era mucho más costoso, sin ser verdaderamente mejor en términos generales.
Una herramienta que vale la pena

Customized onboarding support. [sensitive content hidden] my onboarding specialist new everything about the product and how to teach it from top to bottom. As he was really my only interaction with the company besides my sales rep, he really was 'hostaway' to me and did an incredible job setting me up for success with the software and also just helping to set the overall tone for hostaway as a company. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Razones para cambiar a Hostaway: My sales call was 1000% better with Hostaway. Price for onboarding as well as monthly was more competitive. Hostaway also had the best reviews on the web about the product.
Hostaway - good but painful!
Comentarios: We moved from Hostify to Hostway due to the greater amount of features available. Whilst we still believe we did that right thing it has taken a time, effort and money to get things working well. Even now, 2 months later we are uncovering syncing errors which have cost us dearly. Anyone thinking of using this product needs to make absolutely sure that data is being snycronised correctly. It's also worth noting that whilst Hostaway has a very in depth online help centre the actual customer services is frustrating whereby agents don't seem to understand the problems.

First class technology and support
Comentarios: Brilliant, a lot to learn but great support and running 30+ single handedly

Living in a seasonal area, it’s necessary to snooze properties over the winter but you have to delete them or pay which is a problem as lose all the data

First Onboarding Call
Comentarios: Ace Colonia was an awesome guide to show me the ropes of the platform and I can't wait for the rest of the onboarding sessions!

All the tools and integrations seem very straightforward and streamlined once you know how to navigate the platform. Additionally, making your own website was literally just the click of a button

Wouldn't say its a dislike there is just a ton of pages and tabs I need to familiarize myself with and it will probably take some time.
Hostaway Appreciation

Comentarios: I have had a wonderful experience with Hostaway. They have all been very patient with me especially my onboarding specialist [sensitive content hidden] ! She has been great. She communicates well and explains every step in great detail. If I ever am confused about anything she always takes the time to properly explain until I am no longer confused. I always look forward to our google meet. [sensitive content hidden] has been very accomodating when I had to reschedule. I can not say enough good things about this lady !

When they are adding things or changing things , Hostaway must think everyone is in IT Development and can move around the system rapidly. They need to " dumb down somethings " to make it more user friendly and remember , some of us users are only here couple times a month and NOT using it every day , so we forget some things. Most times I can not reach anyone via phone for a quick question.
Customer support like no other PMS

Excellent support for any questions. The on-boarding process was super helpful. Our on-boarding specialist was FABULOUS!! Very knowledgeable and able to help us with all of our questions as we got going.

The app needs more development as it is not as robust as it could be. Needs to include more of the features found on the desktop browser.
Better than all 3 that we tried (Guesty, Eviivo, Lodgify).

So far nothing---I like it a lot. Easy to work with, friendly, and PHONE SUPPORT that actually helpful. Guesty's phone support (if you're to get it), is useless. Their agents are not trained well. They will simply create a ticket which you could have done from the email---It was very annoying.

Incredible onboarding and features
Comentarios: Fantastic! I'm thrilled that we can promote our listings on multiple channels and manage them all in one place. Additionally, the support structure is excellent—the guides are very helpful, and you can always connect with someone at any time if you have questions.

I had multiple sessions with an onboarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden]. These sessions included setting up all of our listings across relevant channels and exploring all the features Hostaway offers. This included calendar sync, reservation management, smart locks, inbox integration with all channels, automated tasks like cleaning, Stripe setup for receiving payments, and creating our own website (which was very straightforward). Without the onboarding and walkthroughs with [sensitive content hidden], setting everything up would have been a daunting task. So far, everything syncs up well and on time!

The integration with Booking.com could be smoother, but this appears to be an issue on Booking.com's side, not with Hostaway.

Razones para cambiar a Hostaway: Hostaway's accessible and available support was a major factor in my decision. Additionally, the cost structure of Hostaway is more attractive to me since it is a fixed cost rather than a percentage-based fee. Furthermore, I understand that Lodgify and Guesty use third-party APIs, whereas Hostaway has its own APIs. This means I expect Hostaway to resolve any issues much faster without relying on third parties.

Simplicity and great support
Comentarios: Overall experience has been great so far! I would definitely recommend Hostaway to others. Ernesto made the onboarding process simple for me, which was my biggest reservation of switching PMS tools with having more than 30 active properties. There were no hiccups in the process and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns quickly. The support team is also amazing and responds within minutes around the clock.

The pros for me are the support team and response times to questions and issues and the simplicity of the tool and how easy it is to find things. I have used other software that was so complex that I would get lost easily but that isn't the case with Hostaway.

The only negative I can think of at the moment is that the dynamic pricing tool doesn't have as many features as third party solutions at this time. But it is new to Hostaway so I'm hopeful it will be improving soon.

Really great solution for Short Term Rental automation
Comentarios: Very happy I switched to Hostaway. This will make managing my multiple Airbnbs much easier.

Tons of functionality and very easy to use. It has everything from automation for all the major booking channels, to easy customization and setup on your direct booking site. It also has upcharges and cross sells and the ability to host clients pages.

It takes a while to go through the onboarding but it's well worth it.

Comentarios: Very satisfied. I couldn’t manage my three properties across three channels without this software.

The best thing they do is assist with the onboarding. All the other software tools don’t do much to help you get it setup. They stayed with me until I was fully setup. The support team is the bomb!

Probably just how not all channels integrate the same way but not sure anything can be done about that.

Hostaway is a great channel manager
Comentarios: I think the onboarding is a great feature and to know that i have a point of contact at Hostaway, rather than just random support people, is great. This is one of the main reasons i would recommend Hostaway.

The control over rates and being able to manage across multiple platforms, we especially like the easy use direct website.
Puntos en contra:
the speed of messages. airbnb message come through a lot quicker but booking.com i find easier to use on their website than Hostaway. We would like some features automated, like financial reporting and even a way to link to something like Pocksmith or Xero would be amazing.

Versatile. Like the calendar layout. Very detailed. Lots of fields. Nice Google booking engine - easy. Prices and fees are great. Best in class customer service - awesome!!

GENERAL: Missing Hide button (you have to block your calendar before going live). Go live button. Mass email function? Does it feed inbox to Breezeway and vice-versa? Automated Messages: SMS Message cannot be longer than 140 characters. Missing guest book that has a UI and is an app. No workflow notices to PMS manager if owner makes a rate change in their own calendar – no approval process. Missing an automated message for modified reservations. No way to import previous reviews with past dates. Owner statements are not automated to owner emails. Cant upload videos. CALENDAR Preset holidays names on the correct dates, or allow owner to enter rolling date events such as their birthdays, etc. Variable date increases button (All Listings) so I can increase all clients rates on certain dates. Owner increases the rates, but we approve. TASKS: No pictures, videos allowed. No payment method for completed tasks. No requiring photos when done.
