Fleet tracking made easy and extendable

Comentarios: We have seen an increase in safe driving across the board, though to be fair it took some time to get a decent level of buy-in from our field employees. Culture isn’t something that tech can change but with enough effort and explaining the benefits that affect everyone (I.e. lower driving and maintenance costs mean more money to put towards raises, improving equipment, and other fun stuff, etc.) people will get on board eventually.

Puntos a favor:

Azuga Fleet makes it easy to track vehicles and keep tabs on the operators driving as well. It is easy to see if particular individuals are speeding, hard braking or accelerating, etc. While we don’t use it, they also have the ability to implement a rewards program to incentivize your drivers. One of the aspects that really sets Azuga apart however is the ability to access your data through an API. This means that we can pull all our safety related data into one reporting program. Super great company and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Puntos en contra:

I guess if I was to nitpick, I would say that I would like a little more flexibility with the reporting/notification structure. It’s serviceable but does feel a bit clunky.

Great Product with tons of features

Comentarios: Overall, the tracking units work great and provide needed information for the business.

Puntos a favor:

The web page is easy to use and navigate. It's also easy to edit vehicle information as needed.

Puntos en contra:

The mobile phone app has issues when logging in. It seems to take a couple of minuets every time the app is opened to access the vehicle information. It also runs slowly even when connected to wi-fi. I have also noticed that the breadcrumb report sometimes does not match the correct location to the timestamps.

Comentarios: Overall it is easy to use, easy to set up and works well. The integration with Aspire is nice because we can access some location info directly in Aspire. Customer support is difficult though.

Because we purchased through a third party (Aspire) we have to go through them for any support, we cannot get in touch with someone directly @ Azuga. We send emails, they never get answered. This causes delays in fixing issues and ordering new units. They need to get rid of the middle man.

Comentarios: All sales, no service. I'm confident that the positive reviews for this company are fake or first time tracking device users and simply don't know any better. Make your own decision about using their service, but I urge everyone to simply hang up on them when you get the cold call sales pitch.

The sales pitch was spot on. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] said everything he needed to say to get us to leave GPS Insight after 3 years of great service. He offered everything we were already getting but also added in a maintenance tracking package, plus came in $8 per device cheaper. That money adds up quickly when you run a large fleet.

You cannot create hierarchies for different types of vehicles throughout different markets or regions. If you want to filter for all of the vehicles in one market, you can't do it. If you want to filter for one type of vehicle across multiple markets, you can't do it. We were offered a 30 ping rate at standard pricing, it wasn't written in the contract so I assumed that was their standard ping rate; it is for Fleet Complete and many others. While installing and initializing the device, I found out that their standard ping rate is 2 minutes and it is an additional $2 per device, per month charge for 30 seconds. It took over 30 days and multiple emails and phone calls to get the 30 second ping rate and that was only after I told them I was canceling the service. I had the original sales call recorded and it's good I did because they tried the, "it's not in writing, so we don't know what was offered to you". It was only after I emailed them that I was canceling the service that they seemed to actually care and escalated my concern, prior to that it was always, "I let the propper team know and they are working on it". The contract stated that I had a 60 day trial period and could cancel during that time if I notified them of an issue and they failed to fix the problem within 14 days. As stated before, it was a month of them not fixing the problem and now they want to charge a $100 per device early termination fee. I will continue to fight this and will not be paying that fee.

Azuga tracking is great

The software is easy to use, set up new vehicles, and monitor vehicle usages through live view and reports

Getting everything set up takes a bit of time but once you have it rolling, there is not many issues.

Comentarios: It has helped us realize how many of our staff speed. Some of them are extreme. When we activated the alarm for drivers to hear when they speed it has cut down the incidents greatly.

I use the maintenance part of the program the most. It has taken the burden of physically checking the mileage on each vehicle we use. Now that I have all of them entered into the service section. It will send me reminders when scheduled maintenance is due.

I would like it to be able to give an alert if someone is in an accident. Our staff don't always report fender benders as they occur. So real time alerts would be beneficial.

AZUGA FLEET GPS TRACKING

Comentarios: Review would be 5 stars and 10 out of 10 if ALL the units tracks ALL of the time.

Simple for people in the office to just open the site and see where our guys are. I like how it tracks the odometer for maintenance records.

Many times a unit will not track. We pride ourselves on being on-time for our first appointments of the day but we cannot rely on AZUGA to be functioning properly on ALL unit ALL the time.

Very good when it works

Comentarios: Customer service is key for a business like this and they do an exceptional job of that.

I like how reliable the tracking is when it works. When you refresh it, it actually refreshes the location. Customer service is always quick and they try to help you and usually are able to.

We have had a lot of trouble with the GPS locking up for single trucks and then not being able to track them.

Dash Cams and GPS Trackers

It is easy to use the picture is clear.

The software is not what it seems. They say they have live streaming but when you need a video you must request it and you have to pay for it. The customer service really sucks, if you have a problem, they give you the run around or tell you other departments handle it. The other departments never contact you to handle anything and when you call them for help, they never answer the phone. One of our vehicles got into an accident and our dashcam did not record the accident, it took this company an entire month to tell me that the dash cam was not recording anything and they did not have anything on their server. So now we have a lawsuit and no video evidence to prove that our driver was innocent. It also took them two months to send us a replacement camera for one of our vehicles, one sales person claimed they did not have the camera in stock but the other sales person said they do have it in stock, he sells cameras every day so he knows what they have. Overall, this is the worst company to use for your fleet tracking and dash cam service. They have poor customer service and they are not responsive what so ever.

I imagine if there were no issues, and the customer service tried to get issues resolved, then it would be a very nice service. They have a lot of features, and some of them sometimes work.

We have GPS tracking issues, both not tracking and not close to accurate positions on the ones that do work. We have ELD issues, having to manually enter the trucks location, not allowing drivers to sign out, etc. The App leaves much to be desired, you have to use the desktop version to do anything besides see where your vehicles are. POOR customer service. Hours on the phone with no resolution. Transferred 2-5 times per phone call. You have to explain the issues to every Azuga person who you talk to. When they do finally resolve issues after months of explaining them, they dont resolve all of the issues. A big distraction if you want a seamless GPS/ELD system.

Comentarios: I would recommend it to everyone if I didn't experience issues like odometer readings being inaccurate and not being able to generate a speeding report. But I do experience those issues. So I don't recommend it.

Overall it is simple to use and provides a lot of information I can use on a daily basis

Mileage readings are consistently wrong despite making sure devices are plugged in and syncronized. Speeding report consistently is unavailable/not working. I used this report on a weekly basis. Doesn't help when I can't get the info from Azuga for a situation I know for a fact is happening (drivers speeding)

Great product(s) with a wide variety of customizations

I like Azuga Fleet Management because it enables me to track my fleet, monitor driver performance, and identify areas for improvement. Their tracking’s solutions help my division to reduce costs, increase productivity, and enhance safety. GPS tracking, real time diagnostics and driver monitoring help keep my drivers aware of their performance.

Not really a negative, but Azuga has an extensive range of features, and can sometimes be a bit overwhelming to navigate their portal and fully utilize all of them.

Great addition to our fleet

Using the Azuga software, we have managed to reduce our fuel consumption in our fleet by 14%. The ability to make sure our drivers aren't leaving their vehicles idling for extended amounts of time is what is mainly responsible for this savings. We have also been able to improve customer service since our dispatcher can easily see what driver is nearest to a location that needs an unscheduled visit. The dispatcher also enjoys not having to phone 17 different people to see who is closest.

We have had several of the transmitter units stop working, but a quick phone call or email to the support team, and a replacement device is quickly shipped out to us.

Comentarios: The experience using this app has been amazing since the beginning. I've used it countless times to coordinate multiple vehicle and client transfers or pick-ups and it's been great for managing driver safety.

Comentarios: Azuga has been a great tool and investment that has paid dividends in improved customer service and operations efficiency.

Like visibility of Fleet and the use of the Beacon cards when they are working properly is great for us because we often have drivers switching vehicles so we can see who is where as well. Azuga Fleet has greatly improved our ability to let customers know when they can expect there loads, as well as improve our efficiency in credit pick-ups. Our drivers have a stronger sense of accountability as well.

Sometimes the Beacons don't function properly which can be a headache, but when they are working the system is easy to use and helpful.
