Easy-to-use All in One Human Resources Management on the Cloud
Comentarios: Overall a great 'starter' HR package for small to medium-sized companies.Very relevant for Canadian corporations.HR is one area that has been left unattended and without cloud-based tech solutions. Humi bridges the gap.Very good price pointEasy and quick to implement

Humi is my go-to payroll software for a small company
Comentarios: The Humi team is always available for customer support, and has been for the 4+ years I've been a customer.
Puntos a favor:
The best part about Humi is automating payroll processing, calculating all the correct taxes and deductions, and remitting to the government on your behalf. It takes three clicks to process payroll each week, saving me hours a year.

There isn't anything I honestly dislike about the platform.

User friendly; poor reporting
Comentarios: Overall, the software is user-friendly and meets our basic needs. We moved payroll to another provider due to errors. Humi has been very focused on developing its scheduling platform and as a result, other improvements and suggestions for feature enhancements have been largely ignored. I am hopefully that they will continue to develop and make the software more efficient.

Humi has made a number of improvements to its applicant tracking/recruiting systems and we are satisfied with this program. There could be further improvements to make it more efficient but overall, it works.

The reporting tools have been very disappointing and not usable in most cases. A basic turnover report with analytics is very important to us and we do not currently have this ability.

Working Great For Our Small Company
Comentarios: My experience has been really great right from my thorough onboarding to continued support and the new features getting added all of the time. It is already a great product but I know they are constantly improving it and I'm excited to see where it goes.

The ease of use and the amount of information that can be stored on one program. Instead of having 5 places to store information, it is now all under one program. Customer support is great as well!

I guess the biggest downfall is some of the controls and limitations when it comes to wanting to delegate. Most tasks have to stay with an admin and right now with us being a small company that means it has to stay with me or we need to give someone else admin clearance and they can access all feedback and other confidential items.

Great Canadian Company

Time off, document management and onboarding keeps everything in one place allows more time for HR to focus on other tasks and less time on administration

I find there are some navigation issues sometimes. ie. time off taking you back to the main page when you just want to be in an employee's profile. Surveys also are not the best with the new data as you cannot see separate surveys anymore

Impossible to speak with a Humi on the phone if you have an urgent question. Support tickets usually take 24-48 hours to receive a response

Perfect payroll software
Comentarios: Really good. A few times I had some questions about locating something and support was easy to connect with to help me

The humi software is relatively easy to navigate. It does take some patience but after a few times logging in and navigating around it’s a pretty easy software to use.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about humi.
Excellent HRIS for Canadian SMEs

Their product itself works great. If we do have any issues, the Humi support team is incredibly quick and responsive, providing us with the answers that we need. I have zero hesitation recommending Humi to any HR team looking for an intuitive HRIS.

The mobile app isnt the best. This is by no means a showstopper

What I love and wish for from Humi
Comentarios: Overall experience has been positive. Would love to see new implementations

Love the vacation tracking and calculations. This saves me time on when employee reach out to ask how much vacation they used or have remaining. Being able to share documents and make company announcements.
Puntos en contra:
Not a fan that payroll run cannot be scheduled. When employee is on vacation the payroll does not automatically calculate the vacation pay.

Humi Payroll is missing the year-end filings with the government (generating and submitting T4s to CRA still needs to be done manually). Also, paying contractors (independent contractors with no source deductions) is currently not available in Humi. Also, no mobile app at the moment. this would be helpful for employees.
HUMI has simplified our HR processes!
Comentarios: We are now looking to move to more of their platforms because of the simplicity of it for our HR team and our team members. Couldn't recommend it more!

Best Canadian HR platform

Comentarios: Love it! I like that its very user friendly, and intuitive for employees to use.
Puntos a favor:
Employee Data Base - keeping employees documents all in one place Requesting PTO - Its easy for employees to request time off, and its easy for managers to approve, I also like that employees can see how much time off they have accrued Recruiting Feature - the ability to post job ads on indeed via humi, and keeping track of applicants Reporting Feature - i like that i can pull reports from humi , like employees salaries, start date etc.There is a lot that I like about humi, but it's too long to type it out.

Interview Section in Recruiting - the interview portion to create interviews is very basicBenefits - the benefit section is great, but it would be awesome if humi could partner with benefit companies like Sunlife (its who we use) so that i can add employees to our benefit plan through humi, rather than adding them to the plan in the sunlife portal Training - the training feature is very limited and basic, it would be awesome if humi implemented more tools, think of interactive training like Gamification Learning ( i know that this would require a lot of money and resources to implement, but its something to think about). Ideally, humi would also have the option to create Modules for training, and then a quiz an employee can complete after they have finished that said training.
Humi 101
Comentarios: All staff time off is tracked in realtime in one place. All HR documentation is tracked in one place and clearly identified when acknowledged. Streamlines paperwork

It is simple...and complete for our needs as a small government funded organization

Difficulty printing pages or reports. Uploads cannot be edited easily without removing and uploading again which then impacts any acknowledgement or staff signature requirement. It is still new but these are immediate observations.
Indigenous Inclusivity
Comentarios: Good
Puntos a favor:
This software is easily used across the team. Although onboarding could be better with to-do lists to check off, I think it gives our team a great first place to start. All HR documentation and time off is managed in Humi.

Two major items are Indigenous Taxation for payroll, a right of Indigenous people.Integration with Xero accounting system
Humi is a game changer

The first thing you notice when you get onto Humi is how clean the design is. Wow Wow Wow. Usually my employees have trouble navigating softwares, but with Humi, my employees have become very independent. They just launched the Humi Go App which allows them to request Time-Off, and see their balances on their phone. No more email exchanges or paper forms for this gal! It was hard to find a Canadian company that did everything I needed until I found Humi. Whether it was just storing employee data, running payroll, or even administering benefits, they handled it all. Its nice to have one point of source for all your internal employee needs. There is so much in the system its hard to get into everything but some of the best features are; the document center (where you can upload, edit and send out documents for signature, customized to each employee), onboarding (digitally on-board new hires to the company where they can sign contracts, fill out personal details, and access their own employee platform), and time-off (easily set up leave types and track leave for all employees). Their integrated Payroll is the icing on the cake. It really reduced the errors we had from transferring our changes to our old clunky payroll system (ADP). The buying process was very quick and simple. We had a couple demos to showcase the platform and then we had the pricing conversation. Price is per employee and on a month to month basis and they didn't charge us for implementation which was superb.

There were a couple things they do not have that would be helpful. We currently have a couple hourly employees, and they don't have a clock in/clock out system. However we use the additional fields section to track these.

Comentarios: Overall my experience is good. Earlier on I was frustrated with little glitches here and there. But it’s been better lately.

I like how we have all documents for employees in 1 place. It’s good for time off requests , good for offer letters , employee agreements , etc.

I wish that there was a live chat for support. I’ve also ran into random bug / glitches which can be frustrating. In todays world support in real time is the standard , so having to submit forms can be a bit irritating. I think the format for the org chart can be way way better, the tree diagram when you have large numbers is pretty bad so I have to use excel to create a better one. I also wish I could export zip files of documents as an admin. Ie. I’d like to instantly export to zip file all employee documents.
Extremely disappointing

Has fairly good basic HRIS functionality, easy to set up and use with a good price point. Company was very responsive during the sales process.

Looking for efficiencies in our HR processes and had specific needs - we were promised that all needs could be met and that they would customize to do so. This was an outright lie - if your needs are on their 'roadmap' then all is good, but basic timesheet functionality (which we required) was not important enough for them to customize. Their "implementation" is free but basically non-existent - you do all the work (which we were ok with but others might not be). They responded quickly to our initial concerns and it went to Sr. Mgmt as soon as I called them out for lying in the sales process, but the response from their Co Founder was completely insincere in his promises to fix the situation and in fact, after waiting almost 6 weeks for him to follow up, he blamed me for not reminding him and actually said "Should you have sent me an email in the past two months, I would have been happy to live up to my promise in helping to align Humi with your needs" my response to him was a detailed list of all the times we had tried to get resolution in that time period. telling me "I'm extremely disappointed in our team for the experience you've had, as well as our response to your concerns...." and asking if he could have until the next day to resolve.
Still too much manual work required
Comentarios: It was OK for a short time, we had hopes that investments were being made into the product but nothing has changed over the last year and a half that adds enough value for us to continue using it. Will be switching to a new platform in the new year – probably bamboo.

It has some good basic features and pricing was better than other options, unfortunately for a scaling business we need something more robust.
Puntos en contra:
The reporting dashboard and performance management are the weakest modules, we need to export information in order to pull any meaningful insights. Customer support also not a highlight.
Very Simple and Basic

This software is very simple and basic. If your company doesn't not have an HRIS system, this would be a great starter software.

Once a company gets larger and more complex, Humi will not be able to support the company in its current capacity. Still fairly new and many of their features are still in production.
