Simple system to operate and great technical support.
It could mean I end up with 20 min gaps which is a waste of time as can’t offer 20 min sessions. I would prefer to fix the appointment slots.

Comentarios: Power Diary solves multiple problems for me by offering an All-In-One type EMR platform that allows me to document, track my invoices, communicate with clients, manage my schedule, and pay attention to my reports.

I love how easy it is to use the features. Theren't aren't a bunch of bells and whistles - just what I need to for this field. It's pretty easy to figure out how to use the platform even without using the tutorials. I use it for scheduling and for EMR and my Telehealth platoform.

It's a little difficult managing the form templates and other templates you might use.

Works ok - until it doesn't work - usually after an "improvement"
Comentarios: Assessed as the "best of a bad lot" when researching for purchase. Nothing has improved to alter that assessment. (Maybe its time to have another look). Certainly have resisted further Power Diary integrations, and using wider functionality - reliance on an organisation that doesn't care for quality is scary enough even with the limited functionality.

Bugs introduced with "improvements", that can impact the reputation of the Practice as they are visible to patients/clients (eg in communication templates). Clearly no regression testing, or if so, it is slipshod.Customer support - we have tired of being told stuff was fixed when it is clearly not. Comentarios: I have used half a dozen other practice management systems. This is the easiest and meets my needs best.

The user interface is intuitive and usable. I can visualise my progress notes for previous consultations easily by scrolling down. Notes autosave as drafts, which is great. The calendar integrates with my phone, so I can see multiple calendars simultaneously. I can build customised templates with autofill fields easily. It integrates with sms, email, and Telehealth.
Puntos en contra:
The calendar integration sometimes takes time to synchronise changes to bookings. The letter/report templates don’t autosave and sometimes I have lost work. It can be tricky to attach documents to emails. The practitioner permissions don’t allow me to make changes to my roster.

2yrs of PowerDiary and Continuing!
Comentarios: Although I found the learning curb steep at the beginning, I really love PowerDiary and have actually refused becoming an affiliate with various mental health services because I don't want to have to use their system instead of my PowerDiary one.

I love the range of services PowerDiary offers and that I can do EVERYONE in one setting. PowerDiary allows me to schedule/book appointments, send automated communications, create assessment and templates, write my notes, track who's paid and who still owes me a payment, having video sessions, and so much more. Best of all, PowerDiary is always open for suggestions about ways they can improve the system and unlike lots of other services, they actually implement the changes then contact everyone informing them of the updates. I also love that if I have any questions about something on PowerDiary, I can chat with someone in realtime for help or schedule a meeting with someone who will guide me in a one-to-one session.

I sometimes still get stuck when it comes to how to navigate third-party bulk payments, but a quick refresher always gets me to where I need to be.

Comentarios: We are still under using Power Diary, but it is easy to show others what to do to get started. In a short time they have told me what it can do. It's great.

It saves me a lot of time, I can see at a glance if my clients will be attending, I can look back over their attendance easily when asked. I can schedule down time for myself and others on my team. It prevents double bookings. P.D. just streamlines my office work, and I save staff member time.

Great for Speech Therapists!
Comentarios: Very positive- it is easy to use and helps reduce my admin time.

Clinical notes are quick and you can make templates to speed up the admin process. There are lots of additional features you can use e.g., invoicing, custom emails. Customer service and support is brilliant!

It's a good product but I still don't use it for report writing as it is not fit for my purpose yet.

Great practitioner software

The usability and options from a therapist/admin perspective are faultless.Power Diary makes the admin side of my business a dream, the customer service is quick, friendly and always professional which and allows me to focus on what I do best, hands on therapy. With its inbuilt features to make creation of forms and invoicing to its great scheduling and claims tracking systems this software is absolutely value for money. The errors caused by some browsers? One of them, I can't remember which that affected my sessions all day until I found the answers via google.Having the option to share sound when sharing something. Having a chat when sharing to be able to send links or importants things for the client to keep.

New to Power Diary
Comentarios: Main feature that we liked is the integration with Xero which enables us to be exact with our accounts and in a time efficient manner.

Main feature that is lacking is the inability to select diary slot timings for individual practitioners. We offer 5min reviews to hour long appointments between different practitioners. The one size fits all for all practitioners makes it difficult to see some of the diaries with shorter time slots.Also, when you print out the diary, it has client data that on it that means the print out has to be shredded after, apart from snipping, there is no way to not have this data on the printed diary.
Easy to use, great functionality, responsive team
Comentarios: We moved from Front Desk PM to Power Diary after 12 years. We were naturally anxious about how the information would be migrated to the new system, and whether the system would be able to handle the frequent, high intensity use our multi-practitioner, multi-disciplinary team demands. We have 42 users, and 29 practitioners so we needed a system that was responsive, adaptable and customisable and easy to use. Power Diary has been all these things in the two weeks we have used it, and anything we couldn't use the team were an email (and a phonecall) away, fixing issues for us, helping us navigate and making our lives easier.

The flexibility of the product and the willingness of the support team to take on suggestions for improvement or tweaks that would improve functionality further.

Would love to drill down a bit more on the toggle restrictions but will be passing that suggestion on.

We're importing data from all kinds of systems but it's often a point of concern for those making the change. And yes, please do pass on your ideas for further improvements - our development team is making updates all the time.

When I first opened my practice I was overwhelmed by all the factors I had to consider. I found Power Diary easy to set up. I could understand how it worked without needing to watch endless videos. The support team were really responsive. But most of all I loved that there were times when Power Diary prompted me to consider something I might not have thought off, like compliance. This gave me additional trust in the product.

Honestly, there is nothing I didn't like about this software. I sometimes wished I could print out a calendar with a better layout, but that is just a small thing compared to all the things that worked. With the rising cost of everyday expenses the price point is something that has made me consider other software.
Physiotherapy Practice Management Software review
Comentarios: I have felt significantly more professional using Power Diary from the invoicing, to e-mailing letters and communication to referrers and colleagues. Although my business is small, having a professional software practice management system has been a great investment.

I found Power Diary very easy to use and was able to navigate myself quite easily through setting up my practice information. Have been amazed at all the different integrations and functionality within the system which has been great. Has been a great time saver for me.

Would have liked some initial training or a phone call initially to assist with some of the difficult questions. I understand I could have requested this but I found I had to do a lot of "self study" which was more time consuming than just asking a real person a question. Its easier and more user friendly to talk to someone rather than type all your questions in a chat box.

1. keeping records - so easy to follow up as all the records are there under each client's account. 2. easy to use - I do induction sessions for new starters about using Power Diary and find it really easy to use from the day 1. 3. support - easy access to support team and be able to suggest fore better features. Flexibility is something I really appreciate.

Not much to mention. If I can ask, I wish I can change the name of fields to suit our practice.

Comentarios: It has definitely helped manage my client files and is a huge improvement on a manual system. The ability to create a note template has saved me heaps of time and improves the quality of my note taking. Time has also been saved by being able to process Medicare claims online and the integration with Stripe has helped especially with cancellation fees and when adolescents attend without the paying parent.

Best aspects are integration with Medicare and Stripe. Also the ability to create templates is really handy. Being able to create a template for notes is also a big bonus.
Puntos en contra:
Limitations on the fields you can merge in templates, the reports you can create and data you can export. Also, the online booking functionality is quite limited. It would be great if the client was able to complete intake information directly into the system. I currently have to use a separate piece of software to generate an online form to capture all of this information and then manually enter it into the system.

Thanks for the review Amanda. You'll be pleased to know that online forms are on the way! With data exports if you go to Tools > Data export you can export any (or all) data from your account. Similarly, the Reports you can customise the data to be included in a report, and then sort, group, export to excel or print the report. If you click on Help in your account and search 'Reports' you'll see some How To articles on this. We can also take you through a live one-on-one tutorial on these features if that'd be helpful. Growing our business with Powerdiary
Comentarios: Our business relies very heavily on powerdiary, for diaries, client appointments, billing, medicare, reporting. The automatic SMS reminders are a great facility for clients (they rely on them to remind them about their appointments) and great for us - people are more likely to cancel when they receive the SMS rather than not attend, or cancel at the last minute. The system has been very reliable. It is extremely rare for the system to be down.

Easy to use. When there are issues, there is a friendly person at the end of the phone or email to assist in resolving issues (such as when we've accidentally deleted data, support with reports, not knowing how to do a particular function). The software is constantly being improved with additional functionality based on feedback.
Puntos en contra:
There are times when there are functions I would like that are not available, such as an 'undo' function, especially if I've just deleted a series of appointments accidentally instead of deleting a single appointment. However when comparing this product with other products, it has many more functions than many of their competitors at a more reasonable cost.
