Comentarios: Sin duda, se ha convertido en una herramienta imprescindible para mi y mi equipo. Nos facilita mucho el trabajo y nos ayuda a mostrar logros gracias a los análisis y gráfico que podemos exportar.

Puntos a favor:

Esta herramienta se ha vuelto indispensable en nuestro equipo de SEO dentro de la empresa, siendo perfecta para llevar a cabo una auditoría exhaustiva de nuestra web y obtener un análisis detallado de su estado. Nos permite verificar si las páginas están indexadas correctamente, identificar palabras clave relevantes, ver los títulos H1, H2, metadescripciones de las paginas... así como detectar y corregir errores potenciales.

Puntos en contra:

Tarda mucho en sacar los informes y rastrear páginas que tienen bastante contenido, pero sin duda merece la pena.

Para mi una de las herramientas imprescindibles en los equipos de SEO

Lo utilizamos dentro de nuestro equipo de SEO y se ha convertido en un imprescindible, es perfecta para realizar una auditoria de tu página web y obtener un analisis perfecto de como se encuentra cada web, por ejemplo si están indexadas o no, palabras clave, errores que pueda tener, etc, para nosotros como digo una herramienta imprescindible en el equipo ¡ Muy recomendable!

Esencial y efectivo para auditoría SEO

Comentarios: En definitva llevo 2 años utilizando y es la primera herramienta que uso para realizar las Auditorías SEO en la empresa como en trabajos como independiente.Es excelente poder exportar los reportes (Meta-datos, enlaces y otros) a formato directamente MS Excel.

Puntos a favor:

Su facilidad de uso y velocidad de escaneo de sitios web.Poder exportar rápidamente en forma excel las auditorías de los Meta-títulos, Meta-descripcón, Títulos H1 y H2. También los enlaces itnernos y externos.

Puntos en contra:

Quizás su precio algo elevado.Rastreo Atributo ALT en las imágenes faltante algunas veces pareciera fallar si las imágenes están dentro de un artículo o página (que no sean imágenes principal) en este caso Wordpress.

Con Screaming Frog SEO Spider tengo en el mismo software todo lo relativo a SEO onpage.

Puntos en contra:

Utilizarlo y exprimir todo su potencial requiere de bastantes conocimientos a nivel técnico.

Comentarios: A pesar de ser un poco lento, la información que arroja es muy intersante para resolver muchos problemas de cara al SEO.

Ayuda a encontrar los enlaces rotos y hace un escaneo completo de la web para localizar donde puede haber errores para solucionarlos, como las página 404 o el contenido duplicado.

Puntos en contra:

Es un poco lento a la hora de rastrear sitios un poco grandes y si guardas el escaneo para revisarlo en otro momento tarda en volver a cargarlo.

Buen software para crawlear webs y detectar errores onpage

While this software lacks some advanced functionalities, however, it remains one of the top-notch website analysis and technical SEO tools that I've worked with. I like it because it's user-friendly and provides a comprehensive website analysis feature which provides a set of tools that collect data on various SEO aspects and helps for further fixing such as broken links, meta tags, duplicate contents, and others. This software is able to collect a large amount of data on the website including page titles, headings, URLs, meta descriptions, codes, and many more which easily get exported for further analysis. This provides a more effective and easy way to deal with performance-related issues the website might be experiencing. In addition to being very smart, it offers expanded customization settings that provide ease, convenience, and extra flexibility to configure the scrawl depth, ignore certain URLs, limit scrawl to just some specific sections on the website, and more. It's a great choice for website optimization and ultimately my number one recommendation.

The cost of getting a license can be very high, especially for small businesses with low or limited budgets. There is no direct support which could potentially be problematic in cases where the user needs urgent assistance. It still lacks some advanced functionalities compared to similar tools - but, it's not a great deal.

Screaming Frog gives end-to-end technical SEO suggestions and errors in One Dashboard. Errors like Crawl errors, internal link errors, broken links, meta characters length, alt attributes can able to fix with the help of Screaming Frog.

Puntos en contra:

Its Good For Technical Seo but we have to look for another tool for Keyword Research, competitor analysis, and backlink. it would be great if they include other SEO tools

A big leap of faith if paying

Comentarios: Although it surpasses its competitors in terms of the amount of information displayed, I don0t like having to start from scratch, or for it to crawl what it shouldn't - which puts you over the 500 url limit... even on a small site.

There are so many features - most of which are available in the free version

As far as I could see - there was no way to only crawl the links I provide. I could also not locate a way to save the progress to check on another day, meaning I have to start from scratch every time. This, however, wouldn't be an issue in the paid version as far as I can see

Best Value for Product in This Space

Comentarios: When looking for an option to assess client sites, I need SEO software that works consistently and without bugs. It's also helpful that it's affordable compared to the other services offering a similar scraping of SEO data from a website. Given that it's a flat annual fee, I find that far superior to the high monthly costs. And as noted, it just works. If you're an SEO professional, there will be no real learning curve to use it.

The software works exactly how it's intended to work, and the layout is intuitive. Once you've assessed a website, the output of links, metadata, word counts, and headers is all dead simple to understand—and even more, it's dead simple to sort the details as needed.

I wouldn't say that the interface is either attractive or sophisticated. It's looked exactly the same for many, many years. It's not flashy, but it easily displays the data you need, so it's a small compromise that you don't even really notice.

- easy to use and configure - reliable output of detailed lists of errors, issues, and optimization ideas - segmented reporting allows experienced users to zero in on specific issues - Sitemap.xml tool is top-notch and solves issues for large site implementations

Puntos en contra:

- the interface looks dated; learning curve to know where to find different views and data - needs to up updated regularly (not really a con -- users need to adapt) - limited documentation in the tool (need to consult the website for Knowledgebase)

It can do just about anything you need from a crawler, and at a fraction of the cost of other top tools. Interface is straightforward and simple.

There’s a lot in the tool, so finding each part and learning it takes time. CSV exports for large sites are huge - an excel or other compressed version would be ideal.

Comentarios: This is "the tool". Combine this with Search Console and Analytics and you have everything you need.

Being able to easily crawl a website and having everything handled for you with and obscene amount of customization options is incredible. It doesn't matter if you are a newbie of a pro, SF has you covered.

Great tool, not for SEO beginners

Comentarios: Very good tool that I'd recommend for SEO specialists and professionals, less for beginners.

Puntos a favor:

Its crawler is very good, you can easily find duplicates, 404s, and so on. I have to add that you're provided with great support if needed. I found it to be one of the best tools I've tried in SEO so far.

Puntos en contra:

The interface is difficult to understand at first. I work for the most in PPC and I have knowledge of SEO, so I was able to navigate it, but I'll admit it hasn't been a smooth process. I can imagine that someone completely new to this world would get lost pretty soon.

Great value, rock solid SEO tool

Comentarios: Overall the tool is excellent, great value for a crawler than is very intuitive and will produce a starting point for any SEO strategy. No rival tool really compares for that price point. Any SEO should strongly consider a purchase.

Screaming frog is extremely simple to use. Simply provide the URL to begin crawling from and the software will provide a full report of issues the website may be facing from meta data to errant redirects. The layout is simple to follow and the language used to title issues is very accessible.

Puntos en contra:

The software is not ideally suited to very large websites (like ecommerce sites for example), the bigger the website the slower the crawl setting needs to be to avoid errors or pages not crawled, but this can be very slow to produce a report.

Best SEO Crawler & Very Cheap!

Comentarios: Screaming Frog is the most powerful technical SEO tool. If you know to use to in an optimal way then it can help you do very well when it comes to SEO.

Screaming Frog is one such tool that can crawl your website like Google bot and help you identify technical errors. These errors are very important if you want to rank well for SEO. Each of these errors are well classified into multiple buckets.

Puntos en contra:

The tool freeze at times and becomes non operational but this is due to heavy crawl logs. They should plan for an online version of the tool.

My go to tool for page analysis

Comentarios: This tool lets you enter a URL for any website and click start to get some useful results. Within a minute or less, Screaming Frog spits out a list of every page on the site with information you can analyze to make sure it is optimized for SEO such as page titles, header tags and status codes. You can also use it to dig into competitor websites to see how you might beat them.

My favorite feature of Screaming Frog is that you can analyze a competitor site to view there internal linking structure and possibly find ways to beat them in rankings. This tool also has a powerful feature that lets you find broken links on your own website. This includes both internal and external links from pages that may no longer exist or where moved.

Puntos en contra:

Scream Frog lacks the visuals of other modern software which can make it a bit challenging to view. It looks and behaves like a backend database which is fine for most who use it. But unless you are a pro user, you may have to massage the data a bit to find what you need.

Must Have Tool + Great Value

Puntos a favor:

Screaming Frog is able to help me find broken links, audit our many redirects, find any issues with our meta data, and so much more. It's great value for the price. The integration was super simple, nothing to do except download and install.

Puntos en contra:

I don't have much bad to say about this product. They've made improvements to their user guides which was a previous pain point. The UX is a bit clunky but not that important.

Must-have tool for SEO and website owners

Comentarios: I can't imagine my work without this tool. It worth every dollar. Hope these guys will continue to do their work the same way.

The vast number of detailed reports I can get with this software. I can check almost anything into my websites. An export tool is used by me often. It really helps to mix Screaming Frogs reports with reports from other tools. Api usage is simple, you can start using it literally in two clicks.

Puntos en contra:

Haven't met any disadvantages. Do they exist?

A powerful crawler (and free for smaller sites)

Comentarios: I use Screaming Frog to crawl larger sites in order to retrieve internal link data, on-page data (like title tags, descriptions, H1's, word count, etc... It crawls sites really quickly and being able to export the data makes it easy to put together audits and client reports.

Puntos a favor:

My favorite thing about Screaming Frog is that it's free up to a certain number of pages. Working with non-enterprise level sites myself, I get an incredible crawler for free. The thing I like most are probably Screaming Frog's internal linking and site crawl visualizations. So refreshing after living in spreadsheets for most of the day.

Puntos en contra:

I think the design and UI could probably be better and more intuitive. It's not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement. I'd also love to be able to connect it to some other softwares and reports (I'm sure there's a way to make it happen, but nothing out-of-the-box that I'm aware of).
