Comentarios: La plataforma de enseñanza Pluralsight me ha ayudado mucho en mi trabajo y he podido capacitarme en materias nuevas, así como prepararme para exámenes de certificaciones oficiales.

Puntos a favor:

Hay una gran variedad de cursos y contenidos impartidos por personas expertas en cada materia. Puedes siempre continuar donde dejaste cada formación y afianzar tus conocimientos utilizando los cuestionarios de preguntas.

Puntos en contra:

Me gustaría que ofreciera más contenido en otros idiomas además del inglés. No hay muchos cursos en español.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que más me gusta de esta plataforma es la gran variedad de cursos que ofrece, lo hay muy variados y de temátics muy diversas. La interfaz es muy amigable y es muy sencillo llevar control del desarrollo del curso que estés haciendo.

Puntos en contra:

No hay nada especialmente que no me guste. Quizás el precio sea algo elevado, pero se amortiza.

very broad range of topics and courses available courses on new technologies are available quickly access to courses still in the making so we can watch them as soon as the chapters are available extremely good content, very knowledgeable trainers

the library is missing some deep-dive learning, courses tend to be level 200 at the most the structure might be boring, the introduction part into each chapter is long and unnecessary the course management page is needlessly complex

Integrate Pluralsight Training Into Your Experts Path

Comentarios: My experience over the past few years with Pluralsight is very good. I plan to always have a subscription. This is just a necessary item in the IT industry. The courses are very consistent and high quality with very good authors. Every day several new courses are released and usually, there is one I need to watch as part of my training program.

I get up early every day and watch courses on Pluralsight for one hour. I have been doing this for several years. For the subjects that I am interested in (IT, Cloud, Software, DevOps), their courses are first class. I also take the Pluralsight IQ tests on a regular basis in 30 different areas to review my skill set and help me find areas that I need to spend more time with. The number of courses available on Pluralsight is amazing. You could spend your entire life and not watch all of them.

Puntos en contra:

The iPhone app constantly requires reauthentication which means usually I cannot watch an offline course unless I also have Internet. This is a difficulty on the train where there is no signal.

My Review of Pluralsight Skills

Comentarios: My overall experience with Pluralsight Skills is not good because the content is poor.

Puntos a favor:

I like the interface of Pluralsight Skills and that Pluralsight Skills focuses on implementing gamification techniques through the educational content. Also, I love that Pluralsight Skills offers scholarships for students to take most of the courses for free plus providing a certificate.

Puntos en contra:

The educational content offered by Pluralsight Skills is so poor and not up to date. Also, the visual content offered by Pluralsight Skills is so little which is bad for people who love to learn from videos.

- The library of courses is very vast and very useful - Content of each course is presented in easy to understand fashion - It supports multiple devices, you can continue to learn from your phone or tablet - Certification paths help engineers to ramp up quickly

Comentarios: I like the changes that they have been implementing to address user experience issues and simplify usage.

Puntos a favor:

I love that you can take pre-assessment testing to understand what you don't know and that the offer suggestions on what to watch/study to help fill those gaps. I also love that I can get a variety of offerings on a similar topic so that I understand more view points.

I see confusion around the differences of Roles, Paths, etc.

I'd like Pluralsight to be my silver bullet. I want content on soft skills in the same source to make my life easier.

Comentarios: I am in the love group for Pluralsight, I absolutely love the interface and product it offers.

I am definitely in the love group when it comes to Pluralsight! Anytime I am in a situation where I don't understand a feature of a new software (or an old software that I thought I had mastered), I jump onto Pluralsight, find the module I need, and can quickly learn what I need to know. I owe Pluralsight a lot of praise for how much it has gotten me at my job.

There are some new software products on the market, that Pluralsight doesn't have trainings for, that I wish it did.

Excellent trianing platform

Comentarios: I love this training sight and after 15 years in IT, this platform is the best I have used. The training variety allows you to progress sin many different aspects of your professional career, not only technical but management as well.

Puntos a favor:

Skill IQ, to show you where you are in a variety of different skills. Allows you to train at the level of your knowledge, and not start from scratch. Course availability. Time tracking and certification planning.

Puntos en contra:

Application navigation is a little clunky and not easy to login and pick up where you left off. The user dashboard could be improved to allow more visibility into where you want to go.

Comentarios: Overall it's a good platform to learn and enhance your skills. Recommended.

It has a wide variety of courses and some of the trainers are just amazing, the slides and animations are very easy to understand. It also have skill test with quality questions to test your knowledge.

The subscription price is on the higher side. Also there is no code editor to practice coding. They could have their own inbuilt code-editor.

The thing I like most about Pluralsight Skills is that all available courses are made by professionals. The courses are made such that learners can start from the base and ends with advanced. The platform is easy to use and has allowed us to quickly and easily integrate with our existing business processes.

The only thing I don't like about Pluralsight Skills is It's Pricing, subscription is too expensive and it's almost impossible to buy for small businesses.

There is so much content, sometimes it can be hard to narrow down what you're looking for, but Pluralsight has been doing an excellent job to help curate the content.

Bring the training at your home. It is very affordable

Comentarios: For the price of an half day of class room training, you get access to a whole breadth of IT related trainings. Some of them are really great.

Lots of high level overview trainings (e.g. on Azure Data Platform). I find it hard to find more focused, concrete trainings

Sometimes the progress tracking goes wonky but not often and I have a suspicion its due to some condition that sometimes affects relation between the tablet mobile application and web access.

Great tool to remain up to date

Comentarios: My self training is gaining in speed and accurancy. Only issue is that i could loose myself training to learn everything. Struggling to remain focused on my field.

Some courses are very old and teaching stuff that is no longer best practices or standards Courses are only technical maybe some soft skill courses like communication and leadership would give the platform the perfect experience. For technical courses design is also not very developed making the platform only for software developers

The library of content, features list, and the fact that many of the courses meet requirements for certification is a phenomenal benefit. I would highly recommend Pluralsight to any organization looking for training options for staff.

As with many mature softwares, maybe a bit too feature rich, but in no way a concern!

Comentarios: I have been using it to learn Scikit-learn for machine learning and I used few tips and tricks in my projects.

The tutors are really good and you can choose between Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced courses.

It lacks functionalities like bookmarks in the middle of the video as Udemy has.
