Easy to Use for Admins and Users

Comentarios: Overall very good. We have decided to go with EventMobi time and again because they are moderately priced and work for our event needs, including badge creation and lead scanning.

Comentarios: I will continue to try and work with EventMobi in future. As I named this review, they truly are a partner not just a vendor. I appreciate the entire team from the developers getting the app onto the stores to the team checking in along the way before and even during the event.

I felt supported along the entire way. I have used other competitive tools on the market and I felt like I was drowning in FAQ's. Even with a semi-technical background when I needed help I could hop on a chat or give someone a call and get a real response and guidance. They are the best team, you never feel like you will just be given a link to figure it out yourself. EventMobi makes sure you have the support you need.

Nothing really. You can get a little overwhelmed about how to set up your widgets and links but if you are worried you can ask them to look at it and give you their advice.

Comentarios: I've had a positive experience year over year with EventMobi. The entire team has been a great resource and has been great learning and trying out the new features that are being offered.

EventMobi was easy to setup on the backend and provided all the necessary resources to be able to utilize all the features. For attendees, EventMobi has been a great resource before, during, and after the conference. The engagement and interactive features are a great tool. We've been able to offer multiple scavenger hunts and networking challenges on the app, which increases engagement among attendees, speakers, and exhibitors/sponsors.

Puntos en contra:

Tried the name badge feature, as we were utilizing the exhibitor lead retrieval, and found that we should have printed through the EventMobi printer option. We also linked RegFox with EventMobi and found their were several glitches during the syncing. Thankfully our support rep was able to assist us through the process.

EventMobi - a great benefit for Association Conference

We have used the EventMobi mobile app for multiple years. We continue to use the app for a variety of reasons. It delivers a professional end result, allowing us to avoid printed programs, and therefore being more sustainable. First, the app is very user friendly for our team to do the set up. We build the Agenda, speaker profiles, live polls, sponsor/exhibit profiles and more with basic training needed. Additionally, we love the Q&A feature which allows the audience to post their questions for speakers, then upvote (no more running around with a mic!). Attendees are highly engaged in the app and have reported a positive user experience.

I don't have anything to share on Cons. The app works well for what we want to achieve.

EventMobi App for 1 Day Conference

Comentarios: We have used the Eventmobi App for past 5 years for our yearly conference. This has allowed us to get away from printing any copies of materials for the attendees which has many advantages such as: better for environment, not lugging large packages to event and breaking down the event at end of day is much easier.

The ease of building the app on your own and the customer support for any issues along the way.

Puntos en contra:

Attendees sometimes struggle with logging into the app because have forgotten password. Password reset often goes to spam or doesn't work.

Good platform, great customer service

Comentarios: We have drastically reduced our paper agenda print outs by using the app for the agenda. This also helps in our last minute changes. We are still looking for increasing the ROI for any sponsors who want to further utilize the app. Any time I have an issue or I'm curious about another event's app, my CSM is more than happy to walk through with me. Love that it is almost always a call instead of a link to a help page.

EventMobi's integration with Swoogo is definitely a high point. We also like the basic functionality and look forward to expanding our app for increased use.

Puntos en contra:

The "onsite"/ lead capture app should not be a secondary app that my exhibitors have to download in addition to my event app. With the unique identifier for each user, it should be possible to partition the event app to include the lead capture for only those people designated as exhibitors/sponsors.

Comentarios: Excellent! The team was there to help us at every twist and turn and had a game plan for every scenario when things changed, even the day of the event.

The eventmobi team was extremely professional and friendly and were there for us every step of the way. They eliminated a ton of stress for us and made the daunting task of doing a live-stream so simple.

While it is expensive, it is totally worth it if you are going to do a live-streamed event.

Comentarios: Eventmobi enabled my association to conduct virtual conferences during the pandemic with minimal training (in terms of entering info. onto the platform). However, we had issues with our workshops during our recent 2 day conference (Legal Section Annual Meeting Oct 6&7). The incorrect links were inputted onto the virtual platform; this confused the attendees & speakers. This was taken care of but it was unfortunate that this occurred as we relied on Eventmobi making that portion of the conference smooth (we had 4 workshops & on the day of the event, I had attendees and speakers reaching out to me as they were confused and were not sure what link to press).
In addition, due to circumstances beyond my control as an Administrative assistant I was late in providing material to Eventmobi. I received negative emails from the Eventmobi person assigned to our conference - this occurred a few times. As an assistant I do not make executive decisions on my own and have to wait for instructions or things to get confirmed. This individual from Eventmobi was not nice to me in her email responses, and I did not appreciate her tone. However, I understand she had deadlines to meet and it was crunch time. I would advise in the future to refrain from responding to Admins in an emotional tone as it creates a negative vibe, that myself as a customer should not have to encounter.

the ease of use for every function & the fact that as an Admin I can updated it frequently.

we had issues with the formatting in biographies; I was advised to use "copy as plain text" but sometimes the formatting was still off. If this feature could be fixed (for example, regardless of the font copied it should automatically copy to a specific font to ensure every Bio has the same font size.) that would eliminate the need to re-format at the users end.

App made our conference communications easy!

Comentarios: EventMobi offers solutions for communicating conference information. They have many features that has made our conference run more smoothly and has reduced administrative time.

*We were able to go paperless - no more bulky printed conference guides. We are able to provide attendees with a schedule, speaker listings, vendors, maps, and more. *The EventMobi template app has enough options that we can customize it to our needs, but is specific for conferences so we are not drowning in options. *The app notification systems is a lifesaver for sending instant announcements to attendees during the conference. *Before we used printed guides and decisions had to be made weeks prior to the conference for printing. Now, with EventMobi, we can make changes during the event and everyone is automatically updated. (Room changes etc). *Tech Support helped us copy over last years app so we didn't have to start from scratch this year, each year it gets easier to set-up. We save lots of time using an app vs. paper guides. *Add on features allow us to customize our app to what we need. * Ask a Question allows the audience to participate in a panel discussion by submitting their question on the app, and a moderator could display the question for the audience to see. Allowed us to get to the real questions from attendees.

*It does rely on users downloading the app and having access to wifi or wireless data. Some conference centers have poor cell reception. We had issues with some participants receiving notifications if they were in areas with poor cell reception. *Sometimes people with poor tech skills struggle with the app. They have a hard time seeing how the data is interconnected. They want to see an easy "at a glance" schedule, rather than one with all the details (rooms, speakers, etc). *Our event is for teens, and not all teens have smartphones - it does require the use of a smartphone to work.

Comentarios: Decrease paper, easy updates and announcements to conference attendees, live polling and gamification.

It has multiple functions, is easy to set up, looks attractive, and easy and convenient for the end user at a reasonable price for a nonprofit.

There are still some areas that could be better streamlined to save time, you can't pull in a social media feed, and the gamification component could use some greater variety.

Highly functional and interactive with strong customer service

Comentarios: It has been great. The staff are helpful, and it has been a great addition to our event planning capabilities as a Chamber. The ease of setting the site up and updating it is very straightforward and it really allows people to access the information much easier.

It is extremely functional and easy to use for individuals of varying technical knowledge and expertise. It is also very easy to set up and update.

Some people get confused when trying to load the web page to their home screen or download it from the app store, but that can also be attributable on some level to user error.

Great meeting app and the best customer service

We've been using EventMobi for our past 6 meetings and we love it. It's very easy to add your meeting info (schedule, speakers, attendees) and there is a lot of customization as well. You can select the color theme, change the widgets on the home screen, set up polls, and many other things. They also follow up after your event with a detailed analytics report on app usage. Their support is excellent if you need any assistance. I've always been able to get someone via their chat box when you're setting up the app. This is an awesome product and I can't see us moving to another platform anytime soon.

Great meeting companion

Comentarios: Our meetings generally consist of several breakouts and large amounts of people moving around at the same time. EventMobi allowed us to send out push alerts to attendees phones with heads up on where to go next and other important information. It was super easy to edit/add functionality on the fly.

APP is user friendly and easy to build

Comentarios: Cost savings on printed material. Allowed for interaction and anonymous speaker questions.

The ability to develop it to suit our individual needs. Very little training or expertise is required to input data and manage the APP.

Changes need to be saved every time one is made, results in me having to make multiple attempts because I forget to save. Perhaps a save change prompt if more than just me experience this.

My first experience with EventMobi was awesome!

Comentarios: Using this software saved me time. It helped me be efficient and not need to send several reminder emails to my conference attendees. Everything they needed was available in the app.

The software was user friendly for me as the administrator and for our conference attendees. The software was intuitive and didn't take long for me to figure out as a first time user.

Puntos en contra:

The one and only complaint that I received about the software was the fact that when using the app from an IPad, the user could only see it in portrait view - which made typing notes difficult for those attendees who had a keyboard on their IPad.

Comentarios: Very happy with the support we've received and how well it performed.

This platform really helped us transition our annual summit to become a three-day event that went way farther than we would've expected. It was very user-friendly which always helps with attendee maintenance.

Really the only downfall for us with a non-profit budget was being able to keep it going. The platform is amazing and we're looking forward to using it again. Just can't maintain the cost for a full year.

Comentarios: Great personalized itineraries for everyone, and alerts that reminded everyone of certain things (ie. where they had to be, dinner updates, etc).

Puntos a favor:

The personalized itineraries. Everyone loved it! I also loved the polling aspect of it. We used this for certain sessions, and it went over really well.

Puntos en contra:

I don't think there was anything I didn't like about the software. It was very easy to use, and everyone loved it.

Great Experience with Eventmobi App

Comentarios: I just need you to figure out how you can create your logo in high resolution so when I want to create my Mobile App Sign (24x36") it does not look like pixels and out of order. Customer service was not able to help me with this. Thanks
