### "All In with TheraNest" — 5.0/5

> **Puntos a favor**: Imported years of data from another system into TheraNest with no errors and very limited time commitment.  Their customer support was very helpful and honest about the transition.&#10;&#10;TheraNest is full featured- Our office used a competitor program for 30+ years but wanted/needed a cloud based state of the art EHR program-  Our office tried several other popular programs but they all had significant limitations.  We are very excited about Theranest.  &#10;&#10;Our Office is new to the program but so far so good.  The customer support is excellent.  They are adding features frequently, including specific features requested by users. The start up learning curve is doable and our staff picked it up in a few days versus weeks.  &#10;&#10;The scheduling, pt. appointment notifications, calendar, and agenda are well thought out and fully integrated.  The initial intake note and progress notes took some getting used too but they work very well- DX codes are easily entered and updated.  The progress notes are very professional and signed and cosigned if necessary. &#10;&#10;I know this sounds like a paid advertisement but I have spent a lot of time, money and effort trying other programs and I was never more encouraged than with Theranest.   &#10;&#10;Our goal was to be fully functional with the transition from our current system to Theranest by January 2019.  We are ahead of schedule and our intention is to bill our first full month of receivables for November 2018.

> **Desventajas**: The fees were initially off putting.  But after becoming familiar with TheraNest, I see the potential for a very efficient, time saving, integrated system that is well worth the monthly investment. &#10;&#10;There is also flexibility with monthly billing based upon caseload (increasing or decreasing at discretion of the user) and it seems fair.

> Our office was using one company for scheduling patients and patient notification (text messaging);  one company for billing; and one company for notes which resulted in huge opportunities for human error;  the specific needs of our office were not addressed with any one company. &#10;&#10;TheraNest addresses most of our office needs in one integrated program.  Scheduling, appointment notifications, progress notes, billing, and ERA (eventually). &#10;&#10;I previewed the ERA and it looks like it will efficiently apply payments to billed services. &#10;&#10;I am very satisfied with TheraNest and strongly recommend it for other Behavioral Health providers.

> **Puntos a favor**: I find it pretty intuitive. Pretty simple to use once you get a feel for how the overall program works. I like that the cost is based on the number of clients you're working with as opposed to the number of staff. This was helpful especially when we were just getting started.

> **Desventajas**: I really don't like the way group sessions have to be scheduled. I also don't like that after someone is removed from a group, they may still show up on the progress notes list, even though it does show them as removed from the group, that tends to be an irritant for our staff.

> My overall experience has been positive. I appreciate that the developers send out information about changes made. Customer support has been quick and efficient.

> **Puntos a favor**: Before all of the changes, I liked the ease of use.  It was very easy for my office manager to toggle back and forth between the agenda and an individual calendar for a therapist to make appointments.

> **Desventajas**: Changes to our workflow.  My office manager must now pull up an individual person's calendar to find a spot for the client, then go back to the agenda and choose every counselor to display all appointments on the agenda view. Prior to the changes, the agenda did not change based on a calendar selection. It adds several steps to her job with EACH client and takes time.

> Overall it has been fine. Often the feedback from ticket I get is useful and just recently, the information given did not answer the question.

> **Puntos a favor**: Its a great value and great program to use as an EHR if you are work with mostly self-pay clients. It is relatively user friendly to use as well. Its also great if you have several part-time clinicians since you pay by the amount of clients

> **Desventajas**: It lacks some features both on the client side and staff side that can be improved. The client portal as well as billing abilities are not as robust as other programs.
> 
> I like it and we use it still as a company. However, with the recent cost increase we are considering switching. If you are a small practice with mostly self-pay clients, its a good program.
