I can honestly say that its scheduling system is second to none\! The calendar was actually one of the biggest things that drew me to TeachWorks and is what has kept me a loyal customer ever since. It is incredibly user-friendly and makes it so easy to move lessons around, reassign students to different tutors with the slide of the mouse when schedules change, and manage a very busy tutoring operation without making scheduling feel like a full-time job. I have tried other platforms over the years, and their calendars simply don't compare. TeachWorks nails scheduling\! I also love the lesson notes feature, which allows my tutors and me to keep detailed internal records of what was covered during each session while also giving us the option to share appropriate progress notes with students and parents. The customizable forms have been invaluable for onboarding new students and collecting baseline test scores and other information we need throughout their test-prep journey. Invoicing is a breeze, the dashboard is full of reporting insights that I love seeing every day, there are tons of useful integrations, and I have been able to customize TeachWorks to work beautifully for the needs of my staff, students, and parents. > > **Desventajas**: It is hard to think of much that I don't like about Teachworks. Hmmm. This has allowed for much more accurate invoicing and payroll. We also appreciate the ability to manage permissions. Our teachers absolutely love the notes section to recap the lesson and send notes to families as well. We love the results tracking for students. We love the ability to add all our different services and wages. This helps so much with a complicated pay structure. We like the ability to choose colors for teachers and students as well. > > **Desventajas**: The new version is taking a little getting used to, and I don't love the colors, but that is a very small thing compared to how great it works. Love that I can schedule lessons for the entire semester and then easily adjust when things need to change \& that it will automatically notify the parents. Also love how easy it is to create invoices, edit them if needed, and send reminders to parents if they’re late. Very easy. Also love, when tax-time comes, that I can easily create a chart with all my income - to send to my CPA. I’m hesitant to change because I really like Teachworks, don’t want to have to learn a new software system, and have years of notes I don’t want to lose. But I do wish it weren’t quite as expensive. > > It has been very positive. The online lesson feature was pretty glitchy when I used it during Covid \& I ended up using FaceTime instead. But I hardly ever use that anymore - so not really a current issue.
