Paymo es una aplicación de gestión de proyectos moderna e intuitiva para empresas y trabajadores autónomos organizados en proyectos que combina administración avanzada de tareas, planificación, programación, registro del tiempo, colaboración y facturación. Esto significa que permite realizar un seguimiento de todo el proceso de un proyecto, desde la creación hasta la remuneración, sin tener que usar y pagar varias aplicaciones.

Rentabilidad
Comentarios: La verdad que llevo con Paymo desde 2008, muchos años... y siempre digo que si no mides la rentabilidad de los proyectos estás muerto, de qué nos sirve vender y hacer muchos proyectos los cuales perdemos horas o mejor dicho dinero... es alucinante ver como las horas pasan y si no haces nada por controlarlo o revisarlo tu negocio te aseguro que va durar poco.
Puntos a favor:
La versión desktop es una herramienta muy rápida, con buscares muy potentes y la UX muy bien trabajada. Y para la ficha del proyecto hay muchas opciones para su gestión, así como la API.
Puntos en contra:
El APP es algo que es muy complejo de usar, no por lo que puede hacer sino por su usabilidad. También el Dashboard es muy básico y sencillo que aporta muy poco.
Completo, estructurado y facil de usar
Comentarios: Tenemos una buena experiencia, nos ayuda a mejorar la organización de los proyectos legales, enriqueciendo el software con las integraciones que permite.

Facilidad de uso, adaptación del idioma, libre elección de menús y funcionalidades, soporte-servicio y costo asequible

App movil puede involucrar mayores funcionalidades

Paymo is a good controlling platform
Puntos a favor:
We need to track the progress for several, multiple projects for both, time budget and estimated tasks.
Puntos en contra:
In the past the invoicing and estimation templates are not the best. I need my CSS knowledge to fit them within a german document template. There must be an updated templating, but i just didn't found the time to test it out.

Comentarios: Overall a great app to use. We successfully manage a small team of 9 with the feature set and get good feature development feedback

We use Paymo for time management, or at least tracking the hours spent on projects. For this purpose it works. The interface is easy to use and it time entry is a breeze.

Paymo is not the best solution out there, but not the worst either. I would not say there is a particular bad thing about Paymo, rather that it comes down to personal preference. I, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this, find timesheet entry a pain, regardless of what time tracking software is being used. Is there a better way of doing this? Yes, but I have not developed it, yet.

Task management and time tracking is baked into ONE system so you pay once, not for two different systems. Easy to use like Asana, but packed with more functionality, like Clickup – but much better than either.
Puntos en contra:
Paymo can’t (yet) set a price per word for invoicing articles, and due to legal requirements in the UK, I have to export invoices to Quickbooks and send them from there rather than directly from Paymo.
Love Paymo! Would highly recommend it!
Comentarios: So far we are very happy with Paymo and will continue to use it and recommend it. The team has found it easy to use so far and to implement with everyone.

We love the time tracking and project management combined in Paymo, it allows for 1 tool for our team rather than having multiple softwares to do what we need. We use time tracking + the task/project management heavily, so it's awesome to have it in 1 product.
Puntos en contra:
There's just some small features I think that will come that would be great. Some minor things, like adding expenses from the project view for example. But it's great we can add feedback and suggest edits.

Easy to track time and see calendar view on timesheets to visualise your day. Easy to create a project and great to see different viewing options such as table or gantt depending on how you need to visualise a project.
Puntos en contra:
Scheduling/resource management could be better. We can't register the time that an employee may work every week as some are part-time. (as far as I know) And we can't build out a person's day in a calendar style similar to timesheets to dictate when they should be working on something.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it. Please note that by using the Day view in Team scheduling you can set specific time intervals the user should be working on the tasks.
Great but could improve
Comentarios:
It saves me time, especially with invoicing, I use it daily for my work.
It feels a bit unfriendly at time when I get to the website. Many tabs, some missing options unless I upgrade to the most costly version. But overall indispensable. I have recommended it to other companies already. Also, the sync with google calendar doesn't work for me. Maybe I didn't configure it properly but I tried several times. The time don't appear in any other calendar than on the Paymo website.
Puntos a favor:
It's simply the cheapest option for time tracking, project management + automatic invoicing. Unfortunately some essential features need upgrading each time. It is sad that we don't get more with Small Office than Kaban. Still, it is the cheapest for making clean invoices.
Puntos en contra:
It lacks some project management options such as adding description text or brief to projects. Ideally it should be visible on one screen -> Project summary then the list of tasks.

I've been using Paymo for years, and I don't plan to switch. It's easy to use, reasonably priced, and it is continuously updated and improved.

I don't use the project management features because I don't need them. So for me, that aspect is overkill. But I am sure other people need those features.

Great experience, and had issues with invoice templates, but received an update from support and the issue was fixed within 10 minutes.
The time I have saved this year is immeasurable.
Puntos a favor:
Priced to replace the free versions of the software. Automation of invoices, compared to using Pages template. If more work is completed for an un-invoiced project, editing the invoice is a simple process. The dashboard to keep track of all projects makes things much easier, compared to my old Google Sheets attempt at a project tracker. Archiving completed projects allows quick filtering of only the important things. Time reports allow a quick insight into what is still to be invoiced.

I would like a quick notes section added to the dashboard, A daily checklist of the work day, rather than a specific project.
Excellent for SMB Project Management and Time Tracking
Comentarios: I have used Paymo for years and I've recommended it to many people. I am happy with the product.
Puntos a favor:
I like that I can manage multiple projects over many clients and keep organised with an easy to view dashboard. I like that everything is integrated from quoting to task creation and time tracking and then invoicing.
Puntos en contra:
The invoice creation integrates well with Xero but the invoice numbers don't match which makes it difficult to track. Also, once an invoice has been paid in Xero, it doesn't feed back to Paymo to mark it as paid.

Hi Lauren. Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it. The Xero issue sounds like a bug which we will look into fixing, it should mark the invoice as paid automatically. Also although it doesn't have the same invoice name/number, it does have a reference number which is the name/number used in Paymo.
A great business management tool
Comentarios: Very good experience working with Paymo almost everyday. Once mastered, the tool is really easy to use and can make admin tasks more efficient
Puntos a favor:
For small companies, the tool may be sometimes too complete, but it is free if you use it in the limitations and it enables features you would not have with another the tool, even if you have to pay for a small license
Puntos en contra:
Sometimes too complex, but this is also why it is such a good tool. Lack of personnalisation
Good product for time tracking and invoicing
Puntos a favor:
Time tracking works well and tracked time as well as tasks can be billed. Invoice creation works, but could be improved.
Puntos en contra:
The PDF rendering of invoices (and estimates) could really be improved.

Fully Integrated project planning and time tracking
Comentarios: I use this time tracking and project planning tool everyday. It is essential to my business.
Puntos a favor:
The set up is simple and all of the tools are readily available in the GUI. I don't use the app, but the online structure is sufficient and more than capable to handle my work load.
Puntos en contra:
I have yet to find a downside to this product. It continues to deliver

Ease of use for multiple clients and multiple projects and multiple users.

If you quick create a new project there’s not a way to add a template from that screen.
Paymo for Consulting Side Hustle
Comentarios: Very pleased. I've been a customer for a long time and just recently decided to pay for a plan as business picked up more. I love that I've never been unpleasantly surprised by a change.

The ease of tracking time and automating invoicing is essential with a team of one!
Puntos en contra:
Some of the convenience features are only available to the higher paid plans. I feel that those features should be available to all paid plans. Only entirely separate functions should be unlocked with higher plans.
Time Tracking Master
Comentarios: Paymo has been solid for us, no technical issues or downtime, bugs, etc.. Has really kept us on top of our game in relation to time based tracking and billing.

We love the time tracking and task management. Hands down easiest and executed well.
Puntos en contra:
Invoicing. Needed to do recurring monthly, quarterly, yearly invoicing for retainers and subscriptions. Was not available at the time.

Easy to setup, easy to onboard users, very useful reports for margin calculation.

With more complex scenarios and IT specific tasks management reequirements (github integration, workflows, automations, custom fields) it lacks functionality.
Paymo is the best solution to track your time and create invoices
Comentarios: I have used paymo since 2021 and I have no complaints. I'll be sticking with it for the long term.

Paymo is super intuitive and easy to use. It is inexpensive and it has so many features. It makes things easy when tracking your time and importing it into an invoice. I like that you can track in real time and do manual time inputs.

About a year ago it was super glitchy, but it has improved a ton since then.
