The Platform I've Always Needed

It's the exact system I need for my membership. I wanted to create a Netflix for podcasters, and even built out a version one on top of WordPress. But Uscreen does everything I need it to do and more. It was a no-brainer for me to switch.

I'd love an importer for Vimeo to Uscreen, and the ability to make some videos public and embeddable on other websites.

Comentarios: Overall, my experience with Uscreen has been great! I like how much I can provide to my members. In fact, there are a couple features on Uscreen I have not been able to use quite yet but I'm excited about their feature and when I get to the point of being able to put them to use.

The thing I like most about the Uscreen platform is the way I can connect with my members. Being able to connect with my members via Zoom and hearing their questions, being able to communicate with them more efficiently, has been a gamechanger. The members really appreciate it too.

The platform does not have the opportunity to provide documents unless said document is attached to a video. With what I do, I provide a lot of documents such as patterns, charts, worksheets, and forms that don't naturally have a video to attach to sometimes and I have to spend extra time creating some kind of video just to provide a document to my members. It's cumbersome.

Migration was the biggest headache I’ve ever encountered. The Apps and Webs team were disconnected and virtually no communication leaving a lot to error.
Support queries take days, hours, and weeks. Their staff take the weekend off and sign-off after 5pm. If something happens after hours or over the weekend don’t count on it being addressed.
You can guarantee to lose business in the transfer, especially from Web subscribers. Uscreen says that a Stripe migration is ‘simple’, but it’s far more complex than they lead you to believe.
From a platform perspective:
Uscreen’s perks are the calendar and Community, however Vimeo customers will have complaints about that — and when you try to raise these issues with the AI Bot that Uscreen uses for Support — they go nowhere.
They have an alleged “feature request” button where you can request things like different roles for your employees/team, a deep dive into customer information, but they never go anywhere, and don’t count on a Uscreen employee reaching out to you to confirm receipt or even discuss potential changes to their system that could be beneficial (and not to mention, compete with their largest competitor - Vimeo.)
All in all, if you’re thinking about doing it. Don’t.

- Poor support. - Employees who aren't bots seem overworked and not enthusiastic about their work. - The migration process was far from seamless. - Content management requires additional steps: For example, you cannot simply 'delete' a video from a Category. And you can't have a Collection within a Collection.

Comentarios: Professional, proactive, personal ... and pricey. But having access to such a reliable platform with so few technical issues and simple workflow saves you time, so you can be more effective as a creator/publisher. Uscreen just works.

Support is absolute 5*, blazing fast and smart. This retains my business more than anything. I also have a Customer Success manager who was assigned to my account to help me find ways to succeed in my business using Uscreen.

Lack of 'online course' features that would transform the video catalogue into a series of linked courses, with gamification, quizzes and level tests to encourage users to revisit the platform to take the next step in their learning progression. The Community integration (chatroom) lacks rich media support options and is a bit too basic.

Comentarios: There are pros and cons to Uscreen, but once you're a member there is a lot of support to help make your membership succeed.

Uscreen has been our video hosting website since we October 2022. The website and back-end interface are user-friendly enough, allowing us to focus on creating quality content without much technical issues. Their customer support is always helpful and responsive. We chose Uscreen for its community features, and the ability for our audience to comment on specific videos has fostered a strong sense of engagement and community.

Despite its strengths, Uscreen has some notable downsides. The analytics are not as detailed or informative as we would like, although we are hopeful about the improvements they're making. The most significant drawback has been the outrageous increase in cost per subscriber. This substantial hike was difficult to budget in since our operations costs are already very high, but we decided to stay with Uscreen due to the overall benefits. While there are areas needing enhancement, such as analytics, back end community notifications and pricing, we are overall happy with them. I really miss when Uscreen had their community on Facebook, I feel like there's a lack of interaction on their Uscreen community since we had the switch.

Our UScreen Experience
Comentarios: Our initial experience/set up was rather lengthy. We had many, many interactions with CS for many, many months. We have requested quite a number of features and most have been built. It took time. They do listen to our needs, but our needs aren't always met. Our rate increased and that was very difficult for our small business. While we are in a fairly good place, there are still important features we would like to enjoy that have not yet come to fruition after nearly 2 years.

The UScreen team is very responsive. While we've experienced growing pains, UScreen has very much grown along with us. They prioritize serving their customer's needs. While the overall needs of the Uscreen community don't always match up with our organization's most pressing needs, UScreen advisors always answer our questions and help us with our own needs. We appreciate new feature roll outs and we appreciate the forward thinking nature of the UScreen team.

Difficulty of certain features--not intuitive. Fixes generally require large product updates which take time.

Uscreen was a game changer!

Thanks to Uscreen we were able turn our small YouTube channel (Refeel Yoga) into a viable source of revenue. They've enabled us to be able to teach, travel, study and live, while generating passive income and live an amazing life.
I can't recommend them enough. 5 stars is too few!

Aside from the ease of creating out website and making a very beautiful, professionally put together webpage, the customer service has been incredible! We've had amazing calls with our personal representative, every CSA that I've reached out to has been super friendly and attentive. It's been a dream and a life changing experience since we started our account with Uscreen.

This is tough, because there are so many positives. I suppose one complaint I would have is the context window in the comments section. I teach Yoga, so when someone asks a question, I want to give as detailed of a response as possible (my wife says I write books to our students) But this means that I often have to create a series of 4 or 5 replies to be able to full answer a questions. Small complaint, but it's something that would make like easier for me.

Deciding to move our service to Uscreen was a big, but easy decision to make, due to their support. We will finally be able to launch our mobile apps, because of how simple they make it. Comentarios: Overall I'm very happy w/ my uscreen experience. I transferred from creating my own site w/ a LOT of custom wordpress add ons to uscreen. It has been a solid product. They are always listening to their members and I feel very supported.

Product works well. It takes away all the tech work from building a membership site I can focus on my content. Customer support is top! It feels like a family and I feel very supported even if I know I'm not their biggest client. They are listening to their users and their community. They are always engaging with us. I am also able to connect w/ other like minded members.

Analytics in terms of where I got sign ups from (google, instagram etc) are hard to come by. Google Analytics integration could be more seamless and have someone to help us with making sure it was done right. Right now when I go live, the URL doesn't save and I have to create a completely different piece of content for the "recorded video"

I have been using the Uscreen platform for over 3 years and I am really happy to host my membership platform on it. I find the framework really user friendly. There are plenty of in built marketing tools to help with automations and also to reduce churn. I've also found the customer service/teach team support to be second to none - speedy responses with a genuine desire to help! I also recently found out about Membership + which is Uscreen's support community group full of resources to help encourage and inspire membership owners! If you're looking to start your own membership, I would have no hesitation to recommend Uscreen!

Comentarios: We have been with uscreen for over 4 years after being with Vimeo ondemand for over 2 years. And 2 years of a homegrown solution. The functionality of uscreen over those two options is a difference of night and day. We especially like the separate bundle purchase option in addition to lots of subscription options. We LOVE the tech support team. They are VERY responsive, knowledgeable and always keep us in the loop on outstanding issues.

Comentarios: My overall experience is positive. I think it's a great website for companies to offer to their employees that acts as a training video platform. It's especially helpful for companies with multiple types/styles of training videos because Uscreen allows you to categorize them as needed as well as provides data for user engagement.

The ability to review usage. It is important data that enables our team to see who is actively watching videos and how engaging each video is. The ability to track user engagement allows us to determine what kind of videos our coworkers are viewing over others. That provides additional data on how we can improve our training videos are what are users are looking for.

The display of all the videos, it would be nice to go into a specific category and only see the videos available on full screen to effectively find what video you are looking for. I do not enjoy the scroll right feature and I believe that videos can be overlooked in this design, especially if you have a lot of videos.

All-in-one membership platform
Comentarios: The onboarding process was seamless, even when switching over from another tool. Their team was there to help and genuinely cared about helping me.

Uscreen is incredibly easy to set up - if you know how to manage a YouTube channel, you'll have no issue getting a Uscreen membership up and running. It's also great to have community, videos, and live streaming all in one place, as opposed to having to use multiple tools for different functions. The mobile app is also a surprising favorite. My members love how sleek and professional it looks, and I also find I'm more responsive in my community now that I can respond on the go through the app.

I would love to eventually see a Zoom/Google Meet integration to make scheduling meetings with my Community even easier. The live stream feature is a great alternative, but I would love to host group calls in addition to 1:many live streams.

Comentarios: The brightest spot has been the team. The Uscreen team has been great and has really helped us onboard our team to the platform.

The bones of the platform are super solid and you're able to do most things really well. The content management is good and the community page is easy to use. The mobile app is a huge boost that we didn't anticipate would make much of a difference. But it's been the majority of our users are accessing Uscreen through the custom app.

There's some features that lack behind other offerings, especially when it comes to live streaming and scheduling. You currently can't pre-schedule events without pre made content attached to it. And the live streaming doesn't allow you to capture video from a guest.

Uscreen was exactly what I was looking for in my membership site. I took a LONG time comparing and weighing the options, talking to other people, and I did not make the wrong choice. The customer support is wonderful. I’m currently a one-person team and it’s extremely helpful to be able to get answers quickly. My customer success manager has been great from the beginning, too. The platform has been intuitive to use, and there are tutorials for the things that are not. They are always adding more features, and their membership community is helpful for new ideas and ways to grow.
