Opiniones de CaptionHub

CaptionHub streamlined our transcription and subtitling requirements.
Comentarios: My overall experience is very positive. Previously having to reach out to third parties in order to obtain estimates was timely and frustrating.
Puntos a favor:
Ease of use, functionality and speed. The ability to get an overview of a project quickly to provide a quote estimate is very valuable to the sales team.
Puntos en contra:
None as of yet as I have not had to do bigger projects.
Currently The Best Tool For Subtitles Out There
Comentarios: [sensitive content hidden] the head of Account Management, contacted us right away, provided us with a detailed demo and granted us some minutes for the test period. The results achieved are much higher than any other tool we tested for our product needs (text-to-speech voiceovers). They are still not perfect, but it's smth that is easy to work with and faster than building subtitles from scratch in multiple languages. Although I find it not the best choice for voiceovers, it's a lifesaver for multilingual product presentations, marketing creatives etc.
Puntos a favor:
Fast, easy and accurate. Subtitles are basically perfect
Puntos en contra:
The voiceover can't be edited in the tool directly, as it's not a text-to-speech ai tool. Still pretty good with just a few minor pronunciation mistakes here or there
A simple way to add subtitles to short video.
Puntos a favor:
Relatively easy to use and edit/tweak the subtitles after the fact. Quick transcription and processing is good, as is the ability to download an SRT file.
Puntos en contra:
The transcription has trouble with grammar, guessing where sentences start and end can be troublesome. It also has trouble differentiating between different voices, so subtitles run continuously despite a change in speaker which can be difficult to edit. It's also a massive pain that a new 'project' is actually just a new video. There's no option to organise a project with multiple videos or versions into one bin or folder which is an organisational mess. I've discovered that the features here aren't much better than those of YouTube's auto transcription which has me questioning the value of the service.

Update response: We agree, better project management is important and to address this, we released project tagging that can be defined by the user. This allows you to organise, categorise and sort your videos, as well as running reports like filtering your Chargeable Activity view by tag. As for YouTube's transcription service, which relies entirely on Google Translate, with CaptionHub you have access to multiple transcription engines, including the advanced Speechmatics V2 engine. We have also released our Custom Dictionary feature to bias speech recognition so that you can auto-transcribe technical terms with confidence. The features available in the Pro Pack includes sophisticated alignment tools, custom dictionaries, the ability to manage your projects with metadata, as well as automatic edit detection and subtitle positioning.
CaptionHub is the best !
Comentarios: He helped me a lot in translating Recordings related to our work with accuracy and good eloquence
Puntos a favor:
What I loved about this application is its ease of use and the help with work-related things through translation
Puntos en contra:
maybe the application forme, but this does not compare to its distinctive services
The platform is really intuitive and easy to use for both linguists and LSP.
Comentarios: Being able to work on subtitle translation on the same platform from creating the source subtitles to exporting the rendered video.
Puntos a favor:
The possibility to have a timeline with a waveform makes it the go-to platform when you need to work on the translation of subtitles into multiple languages.
Puntos en contra:
Not being able to edit the source and then update it in the translations view. Not being able to adjust what kind of e-mail notifications you want to receive.
