A Decent Employee Portal With Room To Grow
Puntos a favor:
ADP is a giant hub of employee information—tailored to your individual business. I like pulling up my employee records, checking pay stubs, or changing tax information either on my work browser or my cellphone. ADP offers some pretty neat benefits and discounts to ticketed services or entertainment including Disney, Universal, cell phone providers, tax programs, etc. Signing up for benefits one year makes it easier for following years as your elections remain saved for easy review.
Puntos en contra:
The portal is rather bland and it can take a while to peruse the menus and find what you're looking for. It also can feel weird to use an online HR option versus having internal HR employees.

ADP Totalsource review
Comentarios: We have been with ADP Totalsource for about 6 years and I we always had a great experience and relationship. We benefit from their expertise especially given our HR dept is quite small.
Puntos a favor:
The fact that we have a one-on-one contact for HR and payroll and the my life advisors who can help when our direct partners are not available.
Puntos en contra:
sometimes timing to get responses is too long

Comentarios: Overall it has been a good platform, ease of use and extremely helpful with empoyee taxes and payments.
Puntos a favor:
Whenever I deal with my HR Business Partner, she has been able to walk with me through the problem I am facing and have been able to clearly explain how to resolve it. When reaching out my HR Business Partner, [sensitive content hidden] she is quick to respond, easy to understand and patient with my learning.
Puntos en contra:
Sometimes I've waited 2 weeks for the Tax department to respond to a Case I opened. 1 has never been responded to. [sensitive content hidden] has been extremely difficult to reach and rarely is helpful with the explanations.
ADP TotalSource Rocks
Comentarios: I have used ADPTS with 3 different companies. I will not switch to another PEO/HRIS system.

I love the ease of ADP TotalSource, the confidence I have that I will always be informed of new laws and regulations, and the reporting capabilities. It is an all-in-one product that takes a lot of the hard work off my shoulders.
Puntos en contra:
ADPTS is slowly making changes to its featured based on customer feedback. I wish their calendar capabilities were able to sync with google/outlook, but I am sure it is something they are working on.

New hire employee enrollment for benefits. Seems like new employees always have issue logging in and getting signed up in a time frame.

ADP for the win
Comentarios: It has been good overall. I appreciate how much effort has been put into how the dashboard has been setup.
Puntos a favor:
The dashboard, I like how it has a lot of info right there with no need to search for it.

sometimes things are hard to find, like recently I needed to find our company's EMR and that was not available. I had to create a support ticket to get that info. The response to that ticket was prompt.
Solid platform
Comentarios: Overall a positive experience - most of the issues that I’ve experienced have or are getting fixed.
Puntos a favor:
Your support when calling in is good. They are always able to assist.
Puntos en contra:
EVerify photo matching was a big issue but i think its been fixed. I think ADP should offer mailing checks to employee homes if there is an issue with their banking.

Comentarios: We have been a client for 10+ years. It's been on the expensive side, but it has helped us figure things out on the HR end very well.

It covers almost everything HR related. I really like our current ADP rep, [sensitive content hidden]. She's been one of the most helpful reps that we've ever had.

Sometimes, it's difficult to get help or responses from staff.

Puntos a favor:
Takes a lot of tasks around HR and payroll and consolidates into central location. Great for managing e-documents for EEs, has lots of self service options for EEs to help cut down on having a person to answer questions. Great for keeping track of all the important payroll and HR functions.
Puntos en contra:
Customer support can be challenging sometimes. We used to have a support person that was great but he got moved and his replacement hasn't been as responsive. I do find that calling in to general support is usually pretty good though. The reporting can be a little cumbersome.
ADP Totalsource - a most trusted HR advisor
Comentarios: Simply phenomenal given the ease of use, and the help line is always available for me to call and have an issue resolved asap.

A full service one stop provider utilizing a co-employer model that helps a small organization such as ours to fulfil all of our HR obligations, as well as federal and state regulations, while offering our employees great benefits.

So much resources that I am at times too busy or lost to take full advantage of them.

Comentarios: Overall it's been a positive experience. I appreciate the time savings and reminders that are sent regarding upcoming events/due dates and new applicable laws, etc.

I like that our health insurance and worker's comp insurance is all in one place. Which allows us to offer a better health insurance plan for staff.

I find reports hard to navigate and I don't find HR resources as easily accessible as they were when we had the lower tier version of ADP.
ADP TotalSource Review
Comentarios:
Initially, using ADP didn't seem like a good option for us. The team seemed to be unresponsive and not always helpful.
After about a little over a year, the team changed which provided us more quicker and better assistance and a lot more dedicated to resolving issues. Also, our Risk and Safety rep stopped by for the learning section and to assist with compliance. This was really helpful.

The "Cases" section could work better. It would be nice to work with multiple tabs. The I-9 section is difficult to locate for employees. There should be a notice when employees first login to address the I-9 completion. The learning section could be easier to work with.
ADP TotalSource is perfect for HR department of One
Comentarios:
I would highly recommend to any HR department of One to use ADP TotalSource. As a company with 60 employees in 11 states, it makes sense to have the added support for state and local compliance in both payroll and policy and procedures. We have employees in CA, which is always coming out with new regulations to adhere to. In addition, I can offer my 60 employees excellent benefits that are typically provided by much larger organizations.
Other companies may be less money than ADP, but we get access to other products that would cost us money if we did not have ADP TS. For example, a handbook builder, a learning dashboard, Payscale data,

As an HR professional, there is always something that comes up that you never had to deal with before. Besides researching and asking other professionals, I have the support of an HR Business partner who has resources at her disposal to assist me in the best plan of action to proceed.

A few times, I have put through a request in the service portal that went unanswered. I have learned to make sure my HR Business Partner or Payroll Partner is aware of my submission to assist along the way.

ADP is a total package!
Comentarios: We've been with ADP TotalSource for a long time and it's been really great overall. There have been times in past years where it seems that ADP was in a staff turnover period, which was a little frustrating, but we got through it and everything seems to be rolling nicely now. I thoroughly enjoy the comprehensive package and knowing that ADP will take care of our needs and provide guidance and straightforward advice with any question I have.
Puntos a favor:
The comprehensive package and services and knowing we're covered for our HR, payroll, risk & safety and training needs. Plus I love having an assigned HR Business Partner I can call for guidance. I also appreciate being able to call the main line and get help from anyone if my assigned rep isn't available.
Puntos en contra:
Over the years there were times where we've had a not so great HR Business partners - not very responsive (that's not the case now, but in year's past)

Comentarios: It's been a great experience. I have had great relationships with my representatives and team. Everyone is helpful and willing to be a resource when needed. I definitely recommend creating a relationship with your dedicated team. They are there to help you, and the more you share with them about your needs, the better.

Having all our HR and payroll in one spot with a great team behind it is easy. It makes my job easier and more streamlined. To have ADP as a background help, I don't have to worry about the nitty-gritty of HR and Payroll; I trust my team and what they do for us.

Sometimes, not all of my representatives are available, and urgent matters aren't answered in a timely manner. But this can be resolved just by calling and speaking to someone.
Great system for companies!
Comentarios: This is an excellent overall value. I am fully utilizing the resources provided, including safety consultants, legal advisers, handbook writing, and payroll and benefits. The resources are robust, and the team supporting my company is friendly and knowledgeable.

The ADP system is reliable and offers excellent reporting, flexibility, and accuracy. Beyond payroll, the system easily allows for legal compliance. ADP has a wealth of legal experts and database managers who can help a business of any size reduce administrative time.
Puntos en contra:
As is common with any HRIS provider, you can get in touch with an individual who does not have the answers to your questions. I have found that representatives can let me know they are unsure and find someone who can assist them.
Expectations
Comentarios: Not good as issues with PTO accrual keep happening. Not getting timely answers to questions asked. Waiting on hold to speak with someone or being transferred and waiting for that department to pick up.
Puntos a favor:
ease of use managing payroll hours and approving PTO time.
Puntos en contra:
Not responsive to questions that need answers such as PTO accrual. Waiting on the phone too long to get to the right department. Associates being told they need to have the HR administrator call on their behalf.

We love the efficiency of all employee data, payroll, benefits, HR all in one place. Also the self-service generation of WC certificates of insurance. (Marsh) ADP Team is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.
