> **Desventajas**: Searching the TM is not super straight forward. Also, the claiming process is not great (perhaps the volume of work is not enough for the volume of linguists). I often miss out on projects even if I click on the email as soon as it pops into my inbox.

> The projects I managed to work on went well, but I find very odd the lack of personal communication (a PM email, a PM name, all emails for all projects are sent to the same email address in my experience). It's also very difficult to claim a job.

> **Puntos a favor**: the AI-generated translation suggestions are always on point. It is a very powerful tool which gets translation right most of the time. It works particularly well with non-specialised texts as it is a generic language and I suppose that's where Lilt is strongest at. With medical texts, it works well too although you always have to tweak something.

> **Desventajas**: The thing I don't like at all about Lilt is the linguist stats section where you get an estimated payment amount for your time spent working on each project. It is never correct and it's overly generous. Just as an example, I have been keeping a record of my time spent on projects and according to my calculations, I had worked 7 hours on a particular project. For this same project, the Lilt platform estimated I had worked 15.56 hours resulting in a potential $210.90 payout. However, when I got the paystub, it said I had worked on it for 3.9 hours. I am not too sure how to take this as nothing corresponds to the time I have recorded. On the one hand, the system is too generous but on the other hand, the algorithm penalises you if you spend more than 30 seconds without typing or accepting segments. In medical texts, sometimes you need to do some research and that time is not counted. I don't think it is correct as the time spent researching is then reflected on the right wording choice. I believe longer times without typing should be considered, otherwise that would result in translators not researching in order not to get penalised because it's time you're not going to get paid for. I hope what I mean is clear enough.
